I know what you are going through and according to your additional comments, it seems very bad!. Well, if it is SO bad then it will have to get better, right!? There are many opportunities out there in the world, some of which you don't even know about yet!. I know that sometimes you feel so anxious, sickened, stressed, worried, depressed, etc etc etc!.!.!. that hope is almost nonexistent!. However, that will pass!.You will feel good again and when you do, try to relish that moment!. Some say anxiety is genetic but by retraining your "automatic thoughts," you can retrain your mind to look more positively, happily, and more relaxed at life!. You can also go to a psychologist or psychiatrist - most are very helpful!. You can learn to, literally, conquer your problems and if that does not work, try some medicine to help!. If you are not willing to try medicine, I have found Calcium/Magnesium, Vitamin B Complexes, and Chamomile Tea to work just as well as some meds!. Also, meditation, progressive relaxation, mild exercise daily, and breathing have helped!. Obviously, distractions are very helpful!. If I were you, try to do something to enjoy (like going on the computer or reading)!. Relax (I know it's hard), enjoy what you are doing, forget about GAD, and rest!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sorry to say, but my anxiety has been getting worse in the past five or so years, in spite of medications and counseling!.

I was always a loner and kind of shy, not much of a mixer at parties!. Lately I have wanted to withdraw more and more!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had panic disorders and social anxiety!.!.!. The more I was around people and interacted with them the more my social anxiety went away!. That took me years!. I was mute up until I was 16, and then I really started to open up!. I have learned to clam myself down when having a panic attack, and they don't seem to last as long if I stay clam!. I tend to talk myself through them and just reassure myself that it is only a panic attack!.

I am now 20 and a hard working person!. Happily engaged and living my life as a normal person!. No more medications or doctors!. I think it's more mind over matter when trying to get over these disorders!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
