What would you do if someone you cared about was in this situation?!

Question: What would you do if someone you cared about was in this situation!?
Ok so im fairly concerned with my boyfriends behaviour he is 17 years old and has a sleep out he can lock, and close the curtains so that nobody can see into it, anyway i rang his house the other night to talk to him and his sister said he had locked himself in his room and that he wouldn't come out!. Apparently he has done this once before and he was in his room for four days solid!. Last time he did this his friend asked him why and he did not answer he wont talk about it at all this was during the school term!.!. Another friend went around today and apparently he is drunk in his room this is concerning because he has just had his stomach pumped, He found a window to look into and this boy has told me he looked, not himself and pressed his face to the window!? is this some form of mental condition which is making him lock himself into his room like this for long periods of time!?
Do you think we should break in!? is he likely to be violent or anything!? Should i be very concerned or not!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
It is well that you are concerned about your boyfriend's health and well-being!. But your parents are right; there's nothing you can do but support him with your love and concern as best you can!. Other than that there precious little you can do!. It hurts to see someone you love in pain---I know!.

Your boyfriend needs to see a psychiatrist if he is not already doing so!. He obviously needs professional help!.

Hang in there; it's tough; I know!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think he is seriously sick!. It is beyond you!. Talk to his parent because the parents needed to know about his condition!. If you felt that the parents are not the right people to talk to!. Then you'll need a professional help!. Might even call the police and they'll able to refer you to the proper channel!. You are too young to handle the situation by yourself!. But he needed you to stand by him at time of trouble!. You are indeed a good friend!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
