Question: Anyone have headaches with the meds you take!? Please, I need your input!!?
These are the meds I'm on for Bipolar II Ultra Rapaid-cycling, Borderline Personality Disorder with Histrionic traits, PTSD and Epilepsy!.
SEROQUEL 450MG ONE AT BEDTIME
LAMICTAL 100MG
LITHIUM 300MG TWO AT BEDTIME
ABILIFY 5MG ONE AT BEDTIME
VISTARIL 25MG THREE AT BEDTIME or when needed
INDERAL 20MG ONE AT BEDTIME
DILANTIN 100MG THREE AT BEDTIME
BUT/ASA/CAF50-325-40 TWO A DAY
I get headaches pretty much every single day!. NOW these meds are working for me and have been for over a year!. I have to have these meds if I want to survive!.!.!.there is no changing of the meds I am on!. I have tried all of the over the counter meds and even Imitrex!. The headaches get so bad that I have to go lay down!.!.!.in complete silence!.

I got severe headaches from lithium AND lamictal, just as bad as you say yours are - so bad that I have to go lay down!. I had to stop taking those medications in order for the headaches to go away!. The only thing that helped with the headaches at all was taking Vicodin and Excedrin at the same time, and putting ice packs on the sides of my head!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
i was on lithium and got crazy headaches!. i just stopped taking it!. now im on half doses of prozac which is alot weaker!. all i could really do was sleep to stop the pain!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
honestly the way i got rid of them is excercising!. that and not stressing so much on little things!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

that's like overkill!. i have bipolar disorder type 1-severe mania!.!.!.i take lamictal 150mg have been since last march, and!.!.!.it's worked a lot for me!.!.!.!.i wonder why you have been diagnosed with so many things!. i understand about the epilepsy, but having PTSD, BPD, AND BP!.!.!.!.that's quite a lot to be diagnosed with!.
i do have headaches!.!.!.but i take motrin sometimes, i DO take adderall XR for my ADHD too!.!.!.so sometimes the headaches get badd to a point where i needta just put something over my eyes and try to sleep it off!. but it's mostly because i don't really wear my glasses!.!.!.!.
but motrin, tylenol extra strength/rapid release!.!.!.!.could help
but i don't think you should take anymore meds than those 8!.
go to a new psych soon!.

Im sure your meds are causing your headaches!. That is a lot of stuff to be on, but if its the right plan for you and working, good! Most meds have headaches as side effects!. I wouldnt try changing your meds either!. There is something called amish cream (or ben gay) and i use that!. it has a menthol smell, but i put it on my head (i get frequent headaches due to my meds) and it helps so much, and eventually it will make it go away!. The only thing about this is, unless you want to walk around smelling like ben gay and have a shiny forehead, you would have to do it when your at home or before you go to bed!. But it helps myself!. But on the bright side, at least your meds are working for you!Www@Answer-Health@Com
