Communication usually is what stops others understanding what is going on for you, so expressing your self in any way to people is the best way to get help!. But make sure your communicating in a proactive and productive way and people will react in a similar way!.

Writing things down is a great idea, and showing your doctor would really be excellent!.

Try also to keep a diary, same time every day and any other entries you feel you want to make, describe how your feeling, whats lead upto what your feeling: anything that happened to you, any thing you were thinking about, and also what you feel like doing and how you feel things could go/happen, believe it or not all of these things can say alot about you!.

You need to be referred for treatment, and you also need some support (which is different from treatment, support is there to hold you, treatment is there to work on things)!. When you have therapy set up, -or even before, look into support, groups for bereavement and depression could be a very good start, but also!. contact your friends, contact any relatives you know, it may seem like a long shot but your life must feel pretty bad right now, its got to be worth a try!.

Also call the samaritans, they are there to listen!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Write it down, you are really doing well even thinking about it!. Once you have written it you will feel a lot better but in any case hun still take it to your G!.P!. My heart goes out to you you have suffered so much but it is so good to hear you are taking the big step forward and are prepared to go to your doctor!. Well done, keep thinking that way, help is there, all you need to do is ask, loosing a parent is one of the hardest things in this world, you are doing the right thing looking for understanding, I wish you the best of luck, take care!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

depression is a terrible illness, and can be so frightening for the sufferer!. i have just suffered a period of it myself, although i dont think i was aware of it happening at the time, it was others around me who could see it happening to me!. when i did realise things wernt quite right, it had a good grip of me!. i was so frightened of the "bubble" that i was living in!. i felt like no-one could get inside and i couldnt get out!. i spent many hours gazing through the window into space, whilst being absolutely heartbroken, yet didnt know why i was crying!. i didnt want to wake up because i didnt want to go through another lonely day in my "bubble"!. i sat scribbleing a piece of paper one morning and let my pen do the rest!. i began to write poetry about all my inner feelings, they just kept pouring out through my pen without really havint to think about it!. many verses later, my therapy was working, i was already feeling the benefit, having poured out all my anger, hurt, self worthlessness!. im much better now and although im not saying poetry is a miracle cure, it really does help!. try it!.!.!.!.!.!.! i read the poem often and although its sad, its quite good- im proud of it!
i wish you well, and hope you can overcome this eventually!. be strong and let me know how you get on please!. paula xWww@Answer-Health@Com

My daughter finds it helpful to write in the 3rd person - to make a story with a character acting out her personal impulses!. She uses spiral notebooks, each one that holds specific major emotions!. She says this gives her a better perspective by getting her inner feelings out where she can see them and deal with them!. You might try that, and if you feel it would help them see what you're feeling, share them with your doctors!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

writing it down is a good way of channelling what your feeling i ended up in mental health care after i lost my mum you just have to be honest with your doctor tell or show them everything and it will take TIME to get you feeling anything like normal been two years for me and just starting to feel ok!. talk to mental health team and good luck mate hope it all works out for you!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You've come to the right place!. Everything here is written down!. Many issues are promulgated!. Some adumbrated, some explained in painful detail!. In your case, self-help might be the way forward!. Write down everything you feel and then read it back to yourself!. See where the flaws lie!. Observe your strengths!. One, for instance, is going public that you are troubled!. That's a positive!. Build on that!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
