Zoloft for depression/anxiety?!


Question: Zoloft for depression/anxiety!?
I have just been diagnosed with some depression and anxiety!. How many out here has taken Zoloft and have had success and/or failures with this drug!? How did you feel while on it!? Did it help you!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Zoloft has worked pretty well for me in conjunction with dextroamphetamine!. My depression/anxiety was the tired yet still anxious sleep all the time but never get any rest type!.

If you're in a bad mood a lot and anxious but still motivated, it might not be the best thing for you!. Zoloft has a mild amount of dopamine reputake inhibition which is stimulating!. For my 'nervous depression' this worked well, but if you're only serotonin deficient, it could aggravate your anxiety a bit!.

From what I understand, lexapro (or celexa) and prozac are the ones with the least amount of effect on anything but serotonin, and so if zoloft doesn't fit you right, you might look at those!.

Zoloft worked for my depression but did nothing to help my anxiety, which actually got worst while on Zoloft!. Took it for 3 years!. I felt numb, and it made me crave sugar constantly!. I would only suggest taking it for a short period of time and only if you are in a crisis!. Otherwise there are better alternatives to dealing with depression!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

absoulutely dont take it or any other antidepressant!. i actually got really bad on zoloft!. the most signifigant thing you can do , considering your nervous system and brain health are DIRECTLY related to your diet, is this: completely change your diet!. it may sound hard but its not!. i should have when i was younger, but its never too late!. the basic rule: dont eat anything with ingriedients you cant identify!. your body wants plants!. raw vegetables- broccoli, carrots, tomato, celery, bok choy, romaine lettuce, grapes, apples!. anything you like!. and dont believe the hype about proein and calcium!. calcium has never been linked by hard science to even help bones, and even if it does, theres tons of it in veggies!. i lift weights all the time, i have muscles, all i eat is fruits and vegetables!. if i have a sweet tooth i'll go for peanut butter, but i rarely do!. your tastebuds like what you eat all the time, so you just have to get used to it!. just try to eat more greens, dont think it has to be an overnight thing!. seriously though, dont eat anything from your school unless its a salad or whatever!. milk has the hormones required to make a baby cow grow to a 500 pound adult cow in a very short time!. it isnt designed for us!. cut out milk meat and dairy and you will feel SO much better, plus you wont be contributing to the needless deaths of MILLIONS of animals every day!. the people around you might not like it, but you have to be an independent thinker!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

be prepared for some sexual side effects!. zoloft is notorious for that!. i would try alternative medicine first!. there are many herbs and supplements that work well for depression/anxiety without all of the side effects!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I was on zoloft for 3 weeks!. it made me feel nauseous and didn't seem to improve my symptoms!. But there are other people who do fine on it!. It definitely depends on your makeup!. Everyone is different!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
