Bipolar's Do you have a temper with your illness ?!

My ex husband is bipolar!. He never took meds but is court ordered to know!. He definitely had a temper!. He use to beat the crap out of me!. He was also addicted to drugs!. If he didn't get his way he would have horrible child like fits!. He would break and destroy things in his site!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is not a temper, but I just get upset about things that i normally would not!. When I am manic, I say home, don't talk on the phone, normally sit around and feel like I can't trust people or the world!. I take divalproex and citalopram, but i normally am just OK with everything (I hate that, I just sit around and I am fine with the world)!. or I start cycling real fast between normal and manic!. Oh, and it is a bummer on relationships, I normally will tell a women after I get to know her, but then come the "oh your a nut, you are going to go crazy and hurt me" crap!. fact is, I am normally closer to hurting myself more than hurting anybody

best advise I got was from my physiologist, she told me "there is no such thing as something or someone making you mad!. when something happens, you have a choice on how you react"Www@Answer-Health@Com
