Answers:
They are all prescribed medications!.
Benzodiazepines are a class of anti-anxiety drugs
Valium
Ativan
Klonipin
Xanax
all belong under this grouping!. If they are taken as prescribed on an "occasional" basis, then they are fairly safe!. Those who experience the difficulties are people who use them to get high, combine with alcohol or take more than is prescribed!.
In the group, Klonopin is often the med that docs like to choose!.

Beta Blockers--most notably Ideral are good for symptoms such as shakiness or palpitations!. There is no addiction potential in these!. They are also used to lower blood pressure!. They can make you tired and dizzy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You have never taken any drugs before, don't start now!. Occasional panic attacks, unless severe, can be handled with deep breaths and calming thoughts!. Maybe try meditation!.

For occasional anxiety!.!.!.that is what friends and family are for!. Confide in them what you are anxious about!. Just confiding in a trusted friend work wonders for occasional anxiety!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Except for beta-blockers, the rest of those pills are all highly addictive benzodiazepines!. I think you should work on anxiety problem with a therapist, then try alternative medicines, you don't want to be a pill-popper junkie just because of a little occasional anxiety attack!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It sounds like you are going through your parent's medicine cabinet!. Don't take any of this stuff without seeing a doctor!. Some of this stuff is addictive and you really don't want to get hooked on them@Www@Answer-Health@Com

Xanax is good for anxiety, but it is by prescription only!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I take xanax when needed!. I only take a 1/4 mg and it seems to work pretty well for the same reasons you may need it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I STRONGLY suggest you let a Doctor examine you and prescribe the correct medication! Best of luck! kjlWww@Answer-Health@Com
