Need help with my psychiatric drugs!?!


Question: Need help with my psychiatric drugs!!?
i have been taking nexito 5mg(an ssri which is d same as lexapro) and inderal 10 mg(beta blocker)!.!. since the last 50 days!.!. i have been taking it for my social anxiety!.!.!.in the beginning the effects were good but now it seems to be fading away but i am not sure! my mom also has been saying stuff like , "these drugs will stop working after a while and we need to increase the dosage for it to work etc!.!. " !.!. is it true that the effect fades away after a while and that the dosage should be increased!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

if your mum is gonna keep saying that your gonna think it!.us humans have a terrible habit of listening to negative thoughts rather than positive ones!.when i first went on an anti depressant it worked really well and then seemed to zap out but i stuck at the dose and it worked again!.it might just be a rough spot your going through and not the meds stopping working!.speak to your gp and see what they say but i always think your better off staying at as lower dose as possible so if eventually it does stop having an effect you will be able to up it then!.see how you go and try to stop listening to negative oppinions!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is always best to see your Dr!.,make an appointment as soon as possible,don't mess around with your medication or your health!.You let your Dr!. decide what is best,if your not satisfied with his help or advice seek another Dr!.,immediately!. Don't play Dr!.and take good care of yourself,good Luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
