I know that you're going through a very hard time right now!. There's nothing quite as frightening as a panic attack and most people will not understand that!. Kudos to you for taking steps to kick anxiety back in the butt!. It's a horrible monster to live with, but as you've proven, it can be tamed!.

It's true that after time, certain people can build tolerances to medications!. !.5 mgs of Klonopin is not a large dose, by any means - so if your doctor says he/she wants to increase it, give it a chance!. Along with my Paxil and Risperdal (for OCD, Panic Disorder) I take 2mgs a day!. Like you, I started on a lower dose, but found that I could decrease my anxiety by upping it!.

Is Klonopin a daily drug for you, or is it as needed!? If it's daily, I'd talk to my doctor about adding something like xanax for the panic attacks!. Klonopin is a wonderful drug!. It's slower reacting, but once in your system, it lasts longer!. That's why they often say you shouldn't stop taking it cold turkey!. On the other side, Xanax is the same class of medication (a benzodiazepam,) but it reacts much quicker and leaves your system faster!. It's also prescribed at a lower dose!. I know that the Xanax has done wonders for my actual panic attacks, while the Klonopin has kept them under control (with the help of the Paxil!.)

I know you're nervous, and that's okay!. Changing meds is very frustrating!. But remember what it was like to be free!? In control of that anxiety!? Keep focused on that goal and soon, you'll be there again!.

Keep your head up, it gets better :)

Yes I have experienced this as well!. I am on klonopin as well, but they also have me on wellbutrin which helps with panic attacks!.
Have you asked you Doctor about this!?!? I do believe that either an increase of the klonopin or trying another anti-depressant would be helpful!.

Good Luck!.!.!.!.!.!.I feel for you and understand where you are!.!.!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
