I have counselling for PTSD which was triggered by the death of my partner!. I have found it helps to talk and open up to someone who does not judge you, but instead helps you to understand all the emotions and thoughts going through your body!. Counsellors are trained to help you through some of the stages of grief!. Please don't be put off by the thought of talking to a stranger, sometimes that makes it easier for us to open up!. If you don't feel happy talking to someone you don't know do you have anyone close to you who you could talk things through with instead!?

I am sorry for your loss and I do wish you all the best with whatever you choose to do!.

It is quite natural to have all sorts of painful feelings at this time!. Feeling sad/angry/numb/lost at this time is not an illness, it's a part of what it is to be human!.

Try to take good care of yourself and talk to family or friends if that helps!.

The pain you feel is in a way good!. It means you are in touch with your feelings and is just being real and human!.

**If your grief is severe for very long time, and if you find it is having a detrimental effect on the rest of your life!.!.
!.!. well then try a qualified berevement counsellor!.
It can help!.**

But in the shorter term, just find your own way through this and let it take it's natural course!.

Best wishes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My wife's a bereavement counsellor and it does help - you need a clear period of time between the death and the start of counselling - probably 3 to 6 months afterwards!. Good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com
