Question: What should I do with this girl who is borderline that likes me!?
There is this girl who likes me that has borderline personality disorder!. About a month ago we went on two dates or so!. After about the 3rd week or so, she started to treat me like crap!. She thought I got her pregnant, and I didn't, and she found out for herself!. I would ask her out to go somewhere and she would say to me, "leave me the eff alone!" Later she told me to get lost, so I told her adios!. Minutes later she told me she was sorry, that she pushes people away who she gets close to!. I haven't talked to her for about a month, and she just texted me now asking me what I'm doing tonight!. What should I do!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

People with this disorder have just as much to offer the world as anyone else, yet the reality is that having close relationships with them is usually extremely difficult and stressful for the partner!. Some people have the patience and compassion to deal with this, others don't!.
Just keep in mind that in relationships with people with this disorder, they will idolize you one minute and think you are scum of the earth the next!. It will always be this way to one degree or the other, depending on their participation in active therapy!. There is no cure for this disorder!. They most often will not stay in therapy either, as they often fire their therapists, since therapists are treated the same as anyone else, idolized, then hated!.
If you are not up to dealing with this roller coaster ride in the long term, it is best to end the relationship!. Only you can decide if you are up to it or not!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My mom has borderline personality disorder and it's very difficult to deal with!. If you truly want to give her a chance, you may have to deal with her pushing you away sometimes!. She really needs to know that you will love her unconditionally (or course later in the relationship)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
well you know she has a problem, and you know how she might treat you!. You have to ask your self if you are going to be OK with the situation and if you think that the relation ship is going to be worth the work!. It certainly wont be the ideal situation!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
edit: oh!.!. well try not to be too hard on her, she does have a mental illness - if you think it's appropriate perhaps you should tell her that you think she needs to get help, for her own sake, and if she persists, tell her politely that you cannot be with her!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Just be polite to her if she communicates with you or if you happen to encounter her by chance!. I'd ignore the text!. If she asks in person, tell her you were busy!. This girl needs help and is very needy, she does not need a boyfriend now!. You don't need to encourage her!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
