Answers:
I am an adult with ADHD!. It can only be tested by a child psychiatrist because it is a childhood disorder!. My disorder was very apparent as a child!. I was easily distracted, would blurt out answers, appeared not to listen when spoken to, seemed like I was reved like a motor!. I couldn't stop talking or moving around!. My mind was racing constantly and I couldn't shut if off!. I had very poor self esteem and seemed afraid all the time!. I was called stupid, but it was that I couldn't remember what I was told just 30 seconds ago!. I'm still like that!. The symptoms have lessened a lot!. Now, I just change the topic often when someone speaks to me and get bored very easily!. If someone that has ADD is not interested in something, don't force it on them!. Sometimes school projects were too easy or too hard!. When they were too hard, I just got upset and didn't do them!. Try to focus on the strengths of the person and encourage the weaknesses!.

Medications have changed over the years!. Ritalin is prescribed the most for out of control kids!. But there are others like Cylert and other drugs!. Dexadrine worked for me for a little while, then I got more hyper!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
