I use to write letters, and the last I had contact with for over a few months was REALLY helpful :)!. She read everything I said and even made some good suggestions as to what might help me!.
Also had email contact with them which has been beneficial!

Yes it is COMPLETELYconfidential by email useing one of those email things like hotmail Yeahoo mail but by phone you need to phone from a public phone so if they try and trace they can't and like all crisis lines
My own experience is it is just some one to talk too nothing elase and offen one sided you do all the talking but if you need to talk they are some one to talk too

I have contacted them several times over the years, to me they are a life saver, many many times over!. Byt phone, and by email!.
I have always had confidentiality, no one has ever gone and called a&e on me if I say I feel suicidal and have pills ready and waiting!.!.!. they just listen, and help me talk through stuff, and that really strangely, makes a huge difference!.
If you are at all worried, ask them, they may well have boundries such as if you had madeline macan or something, they are always honest and tell the truth, if they say the rules, (if there are any) on confidentiality, they will answer you honestly!. They wont go behind your back!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i have contacted them via email and once i rang my local branch!.they are helpful to talk your problems, thoughts and feelings over with!.email takes up to a day for a reply,unless you like using a phone then that way is quicker!.

I phoned once when I felt like I just wanted to die and found that it was a comfort just to talk to someone who listened and acted like they cared and helped me make sense of the sh!t going on in my head!. I did feel much calmer afterwards!.

they are very understanding and listen to you no matter how long you stay on the phone, my experience was i was going through turmoil at thetime and it was actually the police whom put me in contact with them, they arefar better than any mentalhealth crisis team had ever been , they are certainly well trained and know how to come across and talk to people who feel like there in utter despair if you feel you need to talk to them dont hold back they are very good, you caneven send a message to them on line to joe@samaritans!.com andthey will get backto you within 24 hrsWww@Answer-Health@Com
