Question: Affraid she will leave!.!.!.!. I have BPD!?
I suffer from Borderline Personality Disorder and am in a new lesbian relationship!. Problem is I have a HUGE fear of abandonment and I am affraid she will leave me!. I dont want to be clingy!. How do I accept her love and know shes not going to leave because she said she doesnt want to leave me!.!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

You know that with BPD, relationships are a challenge!. Your being aware that you might get clingy, that you have a fear of abandonment is a very good thing!. Be careful not to sabotage the relationship!. When a negative thought hits you, tell yourself that it not a realistic scenario!. Instead, repeat to yourself her assurances!. Re-play in your head any behavior of hers that you saw as expressions of love!. Stay with those positive thoughts!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Trust her!. I have BPD too, and I got on Cymbalta and don't have that issue with my boyfriend anymore!. I don't even think about it!. I'm happy where we're at!. Get on an anti-depressant if you need to!. It really helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Look in your area for DBT therapy!. It was created for borderlines and really is helpful in giving you skills to deal with these sort of things!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Does she no about your BPD!? If not tell her just incase she doesnt understand your behaviour!.
