Being a 16 year old male it's VERY common to go through patches of insomnia as your body changes hormonally!.
The problem is, when you get into a routine of waking up and being awake at certain times, it's very hard to get out of it even when the initial problem has passed!.
Personally, I would reccommend speaking to your doctor, he may give you some sleeping tablets, just enough to get your body back into a regular pattern of sleep - from there your body may be able to conquer it by itself!.
Failing that, you can try the normal things, which are hot baths before bed, and many drug stores sell natural sleeping remedies which you may find helpful - I know I did!Www@Answer-Health@Com

You may have acute or more likely transient insomnia!. It is always good to seek the advice of a doctor!. Try engaging in more activities during the day!. Exercise is good!. Also brain exercise gets me tired!.!.

Try your local drug store for Melatonin!. Its a over the counter drug!. It helps regulate sleep!. It would be the first this your doctor tells you to take!. I hope you get better!. See you in your dreams!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm 60 and been sleeping like this for years!. One trick I found that works--before going to sleep, tell yourself you will sleep through the whole night and not wake until (whatever time you want to wake) a certain time!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
