Question: Mental/addiction help for my brother!?
My older brother has been battling drug/alcohol addiction for many years and has been recently released from jail!. He has told me of an unspeakable act that happend to him in Jail and he no longer wants to live!. I have tried to help him, but I don't know how!. He just wants to drink/drug, whatever until it kills him!. He is so empty inside, except the pain!. He just wants to make the pain go away!. He has no insurance, no job and close to having no where to live!. PLEASE HELP ME, I DON'T WANT MY BROTHER TO DIE!!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

In the meantime, when he's exhausted all hope for himself, and you know he's bent on self-destruction, see if there are family members who can help you to "Marchment Act" him into some state facility!. The local county facilities can hold suicidal people only for a short time!. But contact both your county and state government offices!.!.!. and see what is required to help someone who's actually that suicidal!.

Contact your Court House in the city you live in and find out what programs your state offers!. There are different programs in each state that will help with medical costs and also with counseling for your brother!. It is free to people that have no insurance!. You can also get HUD housing for your brother at no cost to him!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Find your local hotline and try to get local members to do a 12 step call with your brother!. Many members have been exactly where you brother is and have survived the ordeal, gotten clean from the drugs, dealt with the psychological trauma & now lead satisfying productive lives!.
A secondary suggestion would be to get your brother committed in your nearest psych ward as being harmful to himself or others!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Please bring him to a psychiatrist or hospital!. Or else find him a church, ask the pastor to speak to him about the love of Jesus!. Jesus has been known to give hope to the hopeless and turn many drug addicts around!. The power of God can heal!.
Pls find a United Pentecostal Church!. They have the power of Jesus at work to set your brother free!. The hospital and psychiatrist can only do so much!. Jesus gives hope for living!.

i guess he has lose the meaning of life and cannot see how much efforts can possibly help to change his life!. thats why he turn to old way of life as form of self indulgence!. perhaps what u say cannot help him but u can always seek external help for him!. some good consellor!. just try to pay them a visit and seek their counsel!. and perhaps a face to face meet up casually!. remember always there is always miracle but all it take is 1st step and belief!. don't despair!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

A baseball bat whacking a mattress while he thinks of the event that is causing him so much distress could help, especially if he shouts out his anger at the people involved, while he is doing it!. If you want your brother to survive, and I can see you do, loving brother, please keep him away from the psychiatrists!.
