Extreme Anxiety .. please help..?!
Question: Extreme Anxiety !.!. please help!.!.!?
I have very bad anxiety, I have since I was little!. Now I am 20 years old!. I am on Effexor XR for depression/anxiety, and it helps pretty well, but I'm still very anxious!. I am nauseous all the time and I have a fear of vomiting in public!. I have had this for many years, sometimes it will not be so bad and then a couple years will go by and it will be almost unbearable!. I haven't been to work in a week because I have been sick to my stomach and afraid that I was going to throw up!. I know this fear is irrational but I don't know what to do! I want to go to work but I can't actually get myself to go!. Help!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I am so with you on that vomiting fear!. To me it causes anxiety!. It gets to be so bad that I start to feel sick then have an anxiety attack and feel even sicker!.!.!. It goes round and round!. I personally take Zofran to keep from getting sick or even feeling sick!. Also Xanax is very nice for getting rid of an anxiety attack!. Hope you feel better and your not alone!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I get extreme anxiety as well but I di not want to take any meds!. I talk myself out of it!. You just need to calm down and tell yourself that you are not going to throw up!. Also maybe you should work out I found that that has helped me alot!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It sounds like your medicine isn't working for you!. Go to the doctor and try to get on something else or just work with a psychiatrist!. Alot of it is in your head so you need to change your way of thinking!. Try the book "help for your nerves!."Www@Answer-Health@Com
The other day, I stumbled on a technique which claims it can cure anxiety attacks without medicine!. The website has a lot of testimonials (audio and written)!. Maybe it can help you!.
