Try not doing it next time you're at school!. Do you get panicky or anxious or feel REALLY bad if you don't give it to someone random!? You might feel a need to do something else, a kind of ritual, to feel better!. If you do, and especially if you begin to notice other things like that you do, then it's probably OCD!.Talk to your parents!.

If you don't do it one day and feel fine, it's nothing to worry about!. You're just nice :)

If you do seem to have OCD, remember that you have free will and think, I WON'T GIVE IN TO THESE URGES!!

Most likely it's just a little quirk you have!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

What happens if you don't give out the gum!? How do you feel!?

OCD symptoms mean you would suffer terrible anxiety if you failed to offer the gum to others!. You would feel that "something terrible" would happen if you fail to behave this way!.

If you don't feel this anxiety then you're probably just overly polite, which is not a bad thing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I dont see a problem!. In the middle/highschool world it is difficult to make friends, I think you've found an inexpensive way to break the ice! Bravo!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
