Answers:
There is no cure for autism!. However with proper intervention an autistic child can lose his label!. At age 6, it's hard to know if other issues will pop up!. There are 3 moments when issues can typically pop up from this point on!.

1) Middle School!. This is often a difficult transition!. Middle schools typically aren't as flexible with kids that the elementary school!. Not to mention the actually physical shift from one school to another is quite difficult!.

2) Puberty!. Things change in an autistic child's body, just like any other normal teen!. Often times though, this is harder for the autistic child to understand, cope, or even their mind processes it differently!.

3) Exit from High School!. The transition of having a wealth of services to having to navigate much of this alone is horrible enough!. But from what I can tell talking to some now autistic adults, it was also when they really started noticing the difference between themselves and others around them!.

So your child may have lost his label, but there are always points in his life that may change things!. These are all known by many parents of autistic kids!. There are also others such as a sudden death, divorce, moving, so on and so forth!. But with intervention at those stages, a person can continue to lead as normal a life as possible!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Autism can't be cured!. A person can receive treatment to make them seem almost normal, but they'll still be autistic, and there is always a possibility of regressing to a more severe state!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
