I don't know what to do about my bulimia and I'm scared?!


Question: I don't know what to do about my bulimia and I'm scared!?
I've been bulimic for about 8 months now!. I'm really starting to get scared, but I can't stop!. My cheeks look fat because of the purging, and it's making me so upset with myself!. I don't know what to do!. I don't wanna tell my parents because I'm ashamed and I feel like they'll get mad at me for wasting food, and they won't understand!. I've told my two best friends, but I feel like they're secretly thinking I just want attention, even though they don't act like it!. It's not that I want attention, I'm just scared!. I'm afraid to die and I KNOW that if I continue this way, I WILL die, but I don't want to get fat by eating 3 meals a day!. My friend has tried to help me by making me eat a little something everyday at lunch, but it isn't working because I just throw up everything when I eat at home!. I was bulimic for a few months!. I went through a very hard time in my life when I was partaking in bulimia!. I'm not sure how I stopped exactly!.!. I figured it just wasn't worth it!. It takes a lot more time than one would think to purge all of that food out!. And you have to constantly worry if people are around, if they will catch you!. Just slowly try to stop, try and cut it down by 1/4!. Just take baby steps!. You will feel better, and yes, you will gain weight, but you can avoid that by eating healthy, joining a gym, or just going for a jog everyday!. Please, you need to stop doing this!. This isn't how you should be living life!. You are living in a closed box, constantly hiding from the world, alone in the dark!. You need to gain the strength to get out of that box, and become happy!. You will be happier once you stop, trust me!. It is such a relief!. First off 3 meals won't make you fat!. You need certain nutrients daily to keep your system working properly!.

Some options:
Write a note to your parents!. Include your fears!.
Talk to your school counselor!.
Look up treatment in your area!.
Call a teen crisis line!.

It might be a scary secret but it's no good keeping it, to take the step toward wellness you need to use that courage I know you have in there somewhere!. You can do this!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

eat a little and dont throw it up!. try that with massive determination!. if you cant then you MUST go to your parrients or a counceler for your own sake!.

Now let me tell you somthing, girls look better with a little bit of fat!. i know fat seems gross to you but it is natural and essential!. if you can put some weight on and be social im sure the men around you will give you the confidence you need!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Tell your parents and let them help you!. Quickly before it becomes an addiction from which you can't free yourself!. Please stop doing it!. If anyone is making you feel fat they are assholes!. There are MUCH healthier ways to stay fit, but even if you're chubby I bet you're still beautiful!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

talk to an adult you know that you like!. any adult!. does not have to be a parent at all!. can be a coach, teacher, whoever!. but they can really help you!. and if you tell them not to tell your parents, hopefully they will not!. but, if they do, they will have to listen to that adult and not you (which means they will probably take what the adult says more seriously and more understandingly than if you said it since they seem to have more authority and can help back you up and/or communicate to them)!. and you won't get fat!. you only get fat by actually not eating!. think about it this way: our bodies are built so that if we starve ourselves, your body says "ut oh! shortage of food! that means i need to store all of the calories i get into fat" but if you eat regularly (whenever you are hungry) and have a good metabolism (which comes frome eating regularly) your body says "alright, supplies are coming in steadily, so i'll just burn these off, no problem!. no need to store them into fat as much because there is no emergency shortage of food"!. so i would make a chart for yourself to get ur metabolism back up to speed!. start eating a little bit more everyday!. maybe eat something AFTER you throw up the last time of the day so you have something in your stomach!. just start throwing up less and eating a little more every day (or week) for a few months until you get back on track!. but MAKE a PLAN so that you STICK to it!!! have a friend help and watch to help make sure you stick to ur plan!. also, if you are worried about getting fat, just work out! it is really good for you to work out!. you get toned (hot!) and are healthy and you get happy since working out releases endorphines (like chocolate does!)!. i wouldnt start working out really good until you have enough of a good metabolism though!. oh! and no need to burn off all of the calories you eat with excersice!. REMEMBER that it takes calories to breath, to keep your temperature, to digest food, for your heart, just living and ur body takes up so much energy! so good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

You really need to get some help!. Admitting that you have a problem is the first step so you are well on your way to recovery!. It is best to tell your parents!. I promise they will be far more concerned with your feelings and your disorder than they ever will be for wasting food!. I am also sure that your parents are going to understand!. They may not be able to relate, but once they understand what you're going through, they will be glad that you told them!. There are support groups in your area for eating disorders and mental health!. You can have other people with your disorder that can talk with you and make you feel like you aren't alone!. Because your not!. They will help you!. They know exactly what you are going through because they've been through it themselves!. You need to look in your phone book!. You really need to see a psychiatrist that can assist you in both supplying a nutritionist and to help you to develop a better self image!. It's going to be a long, hard, and grueling process!. It takes a lot of will to get over a disorder like you have!. But you can do it! You already know you need help, so go seek it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hi Video Kid, thanks so much for having the courage to write!. By you asking your questions it means you are acknowledging your problems and are on your way to a solution!. A little bit about your disorder, thank goodness you are working on stopping this now!. You cheeks are bloated because of fluid retention that develops in your facial cavity from vomiting!. Next you can look forward to discolored brown and gray teeth that become loose!. Your hair will start to fall out and become thin, eventually you will see you scalp through your hair!. Your eyes if they aren't already will become bulging and permanently bloodshot from purging!. And finally one day your heart will stop!. It will simply stop working from all the strain and lack of nutrients!. Those are all the things you have to look forward to in your future, unless you get help now!. Tell your parents!. Trust me they already suspect something anyway!. You have nothing to be ashamed of, you have a disorder that is easily treated with the right help!. And you want the right help!. So tell you parents and then go to your general practice doctor so he can run a physical on you and then refer you to a counseling group that will get you on a program!. And by the way they will assist you with an exercise and diet plan and you will not gain weight!. In fact you are going to look better than ever!. Everyone is going to wonder how you got that great looking healthy body!. I know you are going to do it, and then I know you are going to go on and help other young women who are in your situation!. i know what your going through!. the best thing to do is just tell yourself continuously that the food wont make you fat if it's healthy!. it takes a LOT of willpower not to run to the toilets and purge but it is so bad for you that you MUST stop!. seek some medical advice!. im sure your parents wont care that you waste food and more about getting you into a healthy state of mind but if you cant tell them im sure there are plenty of other people in your life who can help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
