Are these phobias normal for a 14 year old boy? Please help.?!

Question: Are these phobias normal for a 14 year old boy!? Please help!.!?
Well I didn't exactly want to waste 5 points asking this question, but I need to!. My phobias are!.!.
A fear of needles: Strong!. I've fainted once!.
A fear of heights: Also somewhat severe!. It causes me to turn down riding on roller coasters!. Luckily the last time I went to a roller coaster park (santa cruz beach boardwalk), my friend also did not like them!.
A slight fear of spiders: If they're bigger than two quarters and I'm alone, I'll avoid them!. (Go in a different room)
Please leave comments on if these are normal and if there is any way to cure them!. Person who gives most advice and ways to cure them possibly gets 10 points please!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
I'm scared of needles!.!.!. I almost dropped out of school so I wouldn't have to take a blood test!. Yes, that's crazy, and I'm going to need to take one anyway when I go back to school next year!.
I'm not that scared of heights, but I am claustrophobic!. I've ran out of a department store crying because of it once!. I've avoided a lot of stuff because of it, but I'm not as bad about it anymore!.
As for spiders, I used to be scared of them!.!.!. but now I just hate those bugs with 48589374 legs and can handle spiders as long as they're not on me or in my hair, basically!.
I'm 16 and a girl!.

But anyway, what is normal!? It's just a figment of our imaginations!.!.!. something that society's created up in their minds!. There's no such thing as normal!. But, you don't seem so "weird" or anything in my mind!. Everyone has their fears, whether they're small ones or big!. It makes them unique!. You don't need to worry about things like this!. :)

Edit: Ignore the comment above mine!. I'd probably put this question in this section, too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Phobias are not normal by definition!. A phobia is an irrational, disproportionate fear (provoking anxiety symptoms) to a certain stimulus, which you either avoid or endure with marked anxiety or distress!. If this is what you have, then there are pills that can help (antidepressants)!. If you can pay for therapy, then get some of that, too, it willl make your problem go away!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Phobia's are considered to be irrational!.!.!. but in my opinion you're okay as long as you're not screaming at the top of your lungs and thinking the aliens are beaming down to get you!. Human instinct tells us to do what we must to survive!.!.!. no one really wants to be poked with a needle, it hurts!. Spiders can bite and lead to poisoning, and we aren't meant to be up high!. It's hard to balance, we could fall, and we aren't made of rubber!. If we drop from too far we break and don't get back up!. It's a rational fear!. Roller coasters also!. We weren't meant to zoom that fast, else we could be able to without machinery!. I'm not afraid of these things personally, but I can rationalize why anyone would be afraid of them!. It's normal!. Even for kids, and adults!. Everyone fears something!.!.!. even if it's death or life itself!. Good luck with your fears!.!.!. I cant tell you anyway to cure them other than to face them head on!.!.!. that's pretty much all they tell you to do in therapy!.!.!. build your way up!.!.!. the needle part!.!. you could always look away, and heights, you could progress up slowly!. Spend some time around spiders, maybe even get a tarantula as a pet!. Roller coasters, you could start out on small "kiddie" rides and work your way towards bigger coasters once you're older and more comfortable!. I hope this helps you out a little!. Not sure it does, but I can hope!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
