well you need to visit your dr!. and see what they would like to start you on, I have found that pills with a longer half life (duration it helps control the symptoms) have worked best for me, rather then having to take numerous doses a day!. I prefer Klonopin 1mg tablets once a day or !.5mg morning and !.5mg at night if you have issues sleeping!. If your issues are only occasional then I would choose Xanax as its very fast acting!. but then again the doctor will direct you to what he or she feels fitting!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
that is a problem of individuality, some do well with xanax, some do well with buspar, some do well with klonopin some do well with valium!.!.!.!. every person is unique!. However, I would suggest that you see a psychiatrist and get evaluated, they have the skills and the knowledge to be able to figure out which might work best for you!. You should also consider a mental health class in dealing with anxiety and panic disorder, there are skills you can learn that will control your anxiety and any panic attacks without meds or at least with minimal medication!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
In order to get perscribed medicine you need to see a doctor unless you want to take natural herbs to help anxiety!. The one that i would most recomend is the Kava Kava, its not addictive like perscription and it really does help!. Also Valerian is a natural herb that helps anxiety too!. Some perscription medicine that your doctor may suggest may be Celexa, Luvox, Paxil, prozac, or zoloft!. They all are very effective but work differently on each person!. Effexor is the name of the drug, kinna expensive!. ask your doc for samples!.
I could not drive nor talk on the phone before taking this med!.
It does take about two weeks to work (and you feel like **** during this time), but when It "kicks in" its like a bad headache going away, and you feel liberated!. I did at least!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
