i also used to self harm but what helped me is insted of cutting my self i got a hair bobble and pulled it Reilly hard and i also drew on my arms with red pen!.

You shoud probably see a therapist after talking to a trusted family member or friend!.
Self-injury is very addictive and can change your life forever!.
I used to trace my wrist onto a sheet of paper and then cut my imaginary wrist with red pen but I don't feel like this method was really helping me cope at all with my issue!.
A lot of people self-injure because of abuse, so perhaps you were abused as a child and forgot about the experience!?
Therapy is definitely something that you should check into, it works wonders as long as you are comfortable with the therapist and are open to discussing why you self-injure!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Stop thinking about yourself so much!. Life CAN suck- but my guess is that your life doesn't suck as much as others!.!.!.!.you obviously live in a house, with electricity, hot and cold running water!?!?!? Clean bed, food!?!?

Start right there!. Count ANY blessings! Any little tiny one! Would you trade places with someone living in a mud floor hut!?

Get ANY sort of outside interest- something maybe where you are HELPING someone else!.!.!.!. volunteer at your nearest NURSING HOME!.!.!. the old folks love it!. What hobbies or interests do you have!? No matter what it is- someone else shares your interests!. Find them! Online or thru some clubs where you live!. Get OUT OF THE HOUSE and DO something!.

Get outside and just contemplate nature whenever you can!. There is something out there bigger than all of us!.

What don't you life about your life!?!?!?!?!?!? If you do not make ONE step in some direction to CHANGE it- then, you are rather enjoying wallowing in whatever rut you are in!

Write it all down! Write down on the other side of the page something you thing might be a solution to changing it! Then make even ONE small step to doing so!.

STOP watching TV! Our society is inane and absurd and all wrong in many aspects!. Hollywood is not real!. Just stop looking at it!. The current "youth and money" culture is bound to make anyone feel bad if they think about it!.

Real people are just fine!. Real people have faults, aren't air-brushed, yet we have loved ones and that is what counts!.

Do you have friends!? Even ONE!? Appreciate them- do something FOR THEM!.!.!.!. Tell your family you love them!.

That's my advice!. All any of us can do is to count the small blessings- sweep out the stuff that is bothering you and get out in the world-- you will find your spot and that life can have it's sweetnesses too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

look for another method for releasing tenssion and all those feelings, you ned help cause cutting is very addictive so you need to talk it out with a therapist or someone who could helpWww@Answer-Health@Com
