Question: How do i meditate and get rid of these anger issues!?
i really hate my anger and it will end up ruining the relasionship wiht my girl friend who i would lyk to spend the rest of my life wiht and she feels the same its jsut she cant take much more of the anger also anyother ways ppls may thing i can get rid of anger problums tell meWww@Answer-Health@Com

talk to your girlfriend about what makes you angry!. write poems, journals, blogs!.!.!. keeping a journal is really helpful!. buy a punching bag or a speed bag to vent on!. you can exercise!.!.!. do push ups, set ups, curls, crunches, lift weights, swim, run track, or go to a gym!. all of these methods are great to reduce and relieve anger!. you can even invite your girl friend to go with you!.

meditation is kind of like!.!.!. mental cleansing!. it's similar to writing and exercise in that it takes your thoughts out and teaches you balance and strength!. try doing a google on meditation methods!. you could also go to Borders or Books a Million and check in the self help section!. or EBay!. You could look for books on how to control anger!.!.!. Anger Management!.!. that would probably be a good way to search it, or go to Amazon and search for books!. Be sure to check the ratings and see what others suggest!.

You could possibly consider talking to a counselor at school or work too!. they're pretty helpful!. If you don't work or go to school, check around for a psychologist!.!.!. not a psychiatrist [they prescribe medication and it's usually worse trying to fight addiction than anger] some psychologists offices offer low cost or free services if you're financially unable to pay!. You could always try the screaming into a pillow and then beating the crap out of it method :P Just try some different things and see what works best for you!

Meditation is fine and dandy, but it won't deal with the issues driving your anger issues!. For that, you really need to consider therapy and even possibly meds if you have serious trouble with controlling anger!. This is something which is very treatable, but if you ignore it you will be sorry at some point!. That's the problem with it, you have no idea what it could cause or allow you to do!. Talk to your regular doctor about it as he/she will be able to give you information on what is available to you!. Good luck to you!Www@Answer-Health@Com

There is one form of meditation that may help you to have less anger!. The Christian and Jewish form of meditation means to "fill the mind" "to concentrate, to think and ponder, to consider" on a particular writing or subject!.

(Eastern religions teach the opposite, that meditation is "to empty" the mind)

To Meditate do this:
Get out your Bible and read this short portion several times!.
Book of Philippians Chapter 4 verses 4 through 9!.

Especially notice this part: !.!.!.!.!."Fix your thoughts on what is true and good and right!. Think about things that are pure and lovely, and dwell on the fine, good things in others!. Think about all you can praise (thank) God for and be glad about!."!.!.

And also learn to pray, as it says in verse 6!.

On future days look at Proverbs or Psalms

Also, you would do well to talk and be real with a person who is older and wiser, whether a Minister or a counselor!.!.!.!.!.!.!.someone you will see again, and who can coach you!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.someone who you will be reporting-in to!.
