i take lamictal which is a mood stabilizer!.!.!.have for the last 15 months and ive never felt like a zombie, to add on to my medicine i need to take adderall xr!.!.!.!.so it's double the chance of being one, but never have i felt like it!.
mood stabilizers are for bipolar disorder, you NEED to take some!. it's not like depression where you can just exercise it off or eat better or take st!.johns wort!. left untreated can go two ways, one:suicide[30% suicide rate in people with BP] or two: psychosis!. the last thing people with BP needs is the media projecting yet again that we're killers because one refused to take medication!.
and i'm only 17, i'm already facing that discrimination bullshit!.
you need to realize every single medication for ANYTHING can make you feel like a zombie!. maybe the first few weeks, but it's because the medicine is trying to work!.
take the side effects in order to get better, it's silly to not wanna take something to function again just because some have a tendency of making people feel zombie like!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It depends on the medication used, and some do take a week or two to get used to, but a mood stabiliser, such as Carbomazapine for example shouldn't even make you feel drowsy, let alone turn you into a Zombie!. No, they are nothing like the old style drugs that used to be used, that did zombify people, and they were usually anti-depressants rather than mood stabilisers!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
