Could a crystal meth od cause permanent damage?!

Question: Could a crystal meth od cause permanent damage!?
Hi
I'm concerned that an OD may have caused damage!. I do not have a history of drug abuse!. I was struggling with depression and insomnia when I vacationed in europe a few years ago!. Upon arrival, I was fatigued and jetlagged and had a lot of social engagements, so I snorted about 50 dollars worth of meth to keep awake!.
It was my first and only time!.
The initial effects were severe nose bleeds and some sort of seizure!.
A few years later, I notice tingling on that side of my face and dulled emotions!.
I'm terrified to mention this to my doctors, as they are very judgemental :(
Is this to be expected as normal!?
Please no lectures, I do that to myself enough!.
Thanks for any adviceWww@Answer-Health@Com

Absolutley, meth can cause brain damage and many other things!. Your doctors may be judgemental but they absolutely need to know!. Everyone reacts to things like meth differently considering your doctors know you and your medical history they would be the best ones to help you not a bunch of oppinionated crackpots on yahoo answers!. Anyways don't feel to bad everyone makes mistakes!. Just be sure to learn from them!.

I WILL PRAY TO YOU!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

That's a strange story, the fact is yes, it could cause long-term damage and if you had suffered a type of seizure than it may very well have, as judgmental as doctors can be (believe me I know) you might want to get it checked out if symptoms worsen, however your symptoms may be likely caused by something unrelated!.

Many of the previous posts are people ranting who do not understand drug abuse at all, so go see a professional!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

well, meth is always full of impurities, cuz hey, nobody cares whether its pure (or safe) as long as they get their effects
you could of ingested some pretty nasty toxins,

go see a doc, cuz anyways, i don't THINK that you can get in trouble, since you took the drug in europe!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

damn this lack of asking questions back!. I'd go for a detox first and foremost, also a very well rounded mineral supplement!. $50 doesnt sound like much worth!.!.!.any idea on the weight!? the most ive had is about half a gram at one time!.!.!.but i know ppl who have upwards of 10g in a session

doubt a doctor will do much except assess your state of mind tho!.!.!.consider some neuroprotective agents as a supplement!.

The lack of emotion could easily be something that was going to happen regardless!.!.!.the numbness could also be psychosomaticWww@Answer-Health@Com

Meth, despite overdosing, can cause damage!. You need to get checked out by a doctor, you don't have to go to your usual ones!. Due to patient confidentiality, I believe the doctor you see cannot tell your other doctors about this!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I just moved back from Europe about a year ago and I have to say, the drugs over there are way more potent and more pure than they are here, yes dear it can cause permanent damage, you should definately seek advice roma doctor or call an ask a nurse lineWww@Answer-Health@Com

crystal mest causes more brain damage than heroin and cocaine combined ( =Www@Answer-Health@Com

you've just gotta let the doctors know

let them be judgmental your life is more importantWww@Answer-Health@Com

any meth use will cause damage
i'm sorry but you really NEED to talk to your doctorWww@Answer-Health@Com

yes it canWww@Answer-Health@Com

If your having these symptoms, it is very important you talk to your doctor right away!. It sounds like you could be having problems with your heart!. Your wrong about the doctor judging you!. Their job is to help you & educate you about making the right choices as far as your health goes!. If you really feel like your current doctor is being judgmental, then I would suggest you find a new doctor!. I wouldn't wait another day to call the doctor!. Your symptoms are considered "emergency symptoms" regardless how long ago they happened!. Tingling on the side of your face could mean your having a stroke!. And NO it is not normal!. Seizures are serious, what if it happens while your driving!? You being "terrified" to tell your doctor will cost you YOUR LIFE!Www@Answer-Health@Com

SHORT VERSION::

What are its long-term effects!?
Meth is addictive, and users can develop a tolerance quickly, needing larger amounts to get high!. In some cases, users forego food and sleep and take more meth every few hours for days, 'binging' until they run out of the drug or become too disorganized to continue!. Chronic use can cause paranoia, hallucinations, repetitive behavior (such as compuslively cleaning, grooming or disasembling and assembling objects), and delusions of parasites or insects crawling under the skin!. Users can obsessively scratch their skin to get rid of these imagined insects!. Long-term use, high dosages, or both can bring on full-blown toxic psychosis (often exhibited as violent, aggressive behavior)!. This violent, aggressive behavior is usually coupled with extreme paranoia!. Meth can also cause strokes and death!.

Meth effects include convulsions, dangerously high body temperature, stroke, cardiac arrhythmia, stomach cramps, and shaking!. Chronic abuse can lead to psychotic behavior including intense paranoia, visual and auditory hallucinations and out of control rages!. Chronic users develop sores on their bodies from scratching imaginary bugs crawling on or under the skin!. Long-term use may result in anxiety, insomnia and addiction!. After methamphetamine use is stopped, several withdrawal symptoms can occur, including depression, anxiety, fatigue, paranoia, aggression and an intense craving for the drug!. Meth use can cause severe gum damage and their related dental problems, known as meth mouth!.

Methamphetamine use causes increased heart rate and blood pressure!. These include rapid heart rate, irregular heartbeat, increased blood pressure, and irreversible, stroke-producing damage to small blood vessels in the brain!. Fatigue and depression can follow the excitement stage!. Erectile dysfunction, heart problems, stroke, and liver, kidney and lung damage can result from prolonged use!. If snorted, crystal methamphetamine leads to a deterioration of the lining of the nostrils!.
Meth Effects - Psychological effects of Methamphetamine
Short-term psychological effects can include alertness, euphoria, increased concentration, rapid talking, increased confidence, increased social responsiveness, eye wiggles, hallucinations and loss of REM sleep the night!. Long-term psychological effects can include insomnia, mental states resembling schizophrenia, aggressiveness and dependence with accompanying withdrawal symptoms, irritability, confusion and panic!.
