Question: Is it possible to miscontrue depression lifting with the manic phase of bipolar disease!?
i heard that some bipolar disease have cycles that can last long times like 3-10 years!.!.!. if that's true, isn't it possible that what you believe that is depression curing is just the manic phase of BPD!?

it would genuinely suck if you think that finally hapiness have come but what you have is just another merry-go-round of BPD!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's the same cycle I always fall in to!. Finally I start to feel better, but suddenly it's TOO better, and I can't think!.!.!. well, I can, but I stop making sense!. I change personalities entirely, date random people, and say/do strange things!. And when it comes time to repair the mess I've made, it's back to the depression!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes!. And tons of people (who are Bipolar or who are having depression from other causes) are misdiagnosed with depression and go through treatment, only to overcorrect the problem and flip into mania!. This happened to me!.

I had Seasonal Affective Disorder and hypothyroidism-triggered depression!. But instead of ruling those out, I was diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder and put on three different but very potent antidepressants and soon was experiencing mania (which was scary)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

While bipolar alternations do tend to occur over a period of weeks to months, a 3-10 year cycle is a bit extreme!. Regardless, the symptoms of mania are typically very noticeable, and very different from a return to "normal"!. You'd probably be back in some variety of mental health care within a fairly short period of time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
