Question: I think i need help but how do i ask for it!?
I feel really depressed!. The days seem to drag along, and nothing is fun anymore!. It seems like the world is black and white instead of colorful!. I do poorly in school and i just cant seem to do anything right! Should i even be alive anymore!? i don't think so!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You definitely should be alive! Everyone feels sad sometimes!.!.!. you sound like you just need someone to talk!. I'll assume that you're a student!.!.!.!. so, most school have counselors that you can speak to, if you don't want to do that, there are phone lines you can call!.!.!. but I've always found that talking with friends or family members can help!.

There are lots of people in this world that are prepared to help you!.!.!. don't give up!. Tell someone (family, friend, or teacher) how you're feeling and they can help you find the correct person (therapist, counselor, or doctor) who can help you through this rough time!.

Stop this nonsense!.Why do so many people think that suicide is the best answer!.It is not!.It is an act of selfishness and cowardice!.The lack of courage to face your problems and solve them!.Suicide takes your life and causes suffering the lives of everyone that care about you and can cause more suicide!.Like a chain reaction!.One thing leads to another!.

If you want to cure your depression you can try the following!.

My advice is that you start the omega 3 diet!.I have researched omega 3 acids for 2 years and performed a very successful experiment on myself and few of my volunteer friends!.Few months of the omega 3 diet i cured my stress[and/or depression] problems permanently and significantly raised my intelligence,improved memory,sight,reflexes[and many other known and unknown benefits] and without any drugs or supplements in the form of pills!.

Take two table spoons of grinded flaxseed[rich with omega 3]a day[with a glass of water] and in a few months you will start to notice significant improvement in your mental health[you will become more psychologically stable,among other things]!.Use a coffee grinder!.Whole seeds cannot be digested by the hydrochloric acid in our stomach only grinded seeds!.A fact and not a assumption!.You have nothing to loose only gain by it!.There are many articles on the internet about the omega 3!.2 years ago before i started the diet i did not feel so stable or happy how i feel today!.

I was diagnosed with dysthymia several months ago!. Nobody noticed a change except my friends, who all suffer from depression!. I wrote a letter to my favorite teacher and trusted that she would get me the help I needed!. She did, and now I'm on Prozac and getting better!. I empathize with how you feel, because I've been there!. I tried [and failed, obviously] to kill myself five times between 7th grade and 10th grade!. But don't think that just because you're medicated [if you DO get medicated], that that alone will help you!. Your doctor will explain that you may need psychotherapy, and you NEED TO EXERCISE!. I hate that part, by the way!. But even just going for a mile walk every day is good!. Me, I walk a mile home from school, and at the end of the night, do 25 crunches and 10 pushups!. Absolutely you should still be alive!. A lot can change in time!. Please believe that the future is worth hanging around for!. Some wonderful things may happen for you!. When my husband was younger, before we met, he went through some very hard times and tried to kill himself but failed!. Now we have each other and three beautiful children who are the love of his life!. It scares me to think that he could have thrown it all away!.

Try writing if you don't want to talk to anyone about how you're feeling!.!.!.You don't have to show anyone what you write and it really has helped me alot!.!. I'm not good with letting people get to know me well enough to know the depression I fall into alot!.!.!.So I write and it keeps me content!.!.!.

Find one, constructive thing you're interested in and occupy your time with pursuing it!.

Maintain your life so it doesn't get worse!.

Most importantly - don't isolate yourself!.
That just makes it worse!.
