Question: I am so stressed!! help!!!?
i have examinations this whole week and i just duno when i shud start revising!.!.!. actually, not when but more of where!.!.!. it's like everything is just messed up in front of me and my head is messed up tooo!.!.!. ok i think i'm talking crap!.!.!. well, now u see how stressed i am!.!. i have to do well for this examination and prove it to my teachers that i am capable!.!.!. what u think!? and any tips to relieve my stress!?!? i am so desperate now!!! help!.!.!. pls!.!.!.!.!. thksWww@Answer-Health@Com

Hey, I TOTALLY understand what you're going through!. On top of that, I dunno about your situation, but you probably must feel in the back of your mind that you HAVE to perform your best to make not only for yourself, but to make your parents proud (that's how I feel a lot of times) - so it doubles the pressure!.!.!.no wait!.!.and teachers!.so TRIPLEs the pressure!.

Well, i've been in this situation before!. It sucks esp when you've got ALL this stuff coming at you at once, and you have no control over it!. I definately agree with few posters above me who say to sit down and try to start with your strongest subjects first!. Then pace yourself, intially taking more frequent breaks!.!.but eventually getting to the point that you are capable of being in the "zone" - almost like a robot where you can tune everything out (just think!.!.!.I have ADHD so think of how tough it for me - i get distracted easily!.!.but if you manipulate your enivornment and create the perfect setting, you're hit study nirvana)

Also, sleep is very therapeutic and studies have shown that people who sleep deprive themselves one week before test, they retain only 70% of the material!. So get as much sleep as you can, and don't worry!.!.just do your best!.!.that's all you can do!. I also agree with deep breathing techniques to help relieve stress!.

Think about it, years down the road you'll be a successful professional, reflecting back and thinking about how much it sucked to have been in the situation that you're in!. This is just only one little spec in the universe!. it's like what Shah Ruhk Khan said in Om Shaanti Om!.!.!.how the universe affects him and it's written in the stars and how ultimately things happen and will happen for reason kinda like how he and Shaanti met!.

It DEFINATELY sucks to study, let's be honest here!.!.!.and who wants to do that right!. What i do is use like a motivation factor!. So think of this way!.!.if you bust your tail off right now, it'll enable you to be in a good position to!.!.!.!.who knows, take that round trip to NYC and be able to wear that lovely white dress and matching shoes and diamonds right ;-)

Well you could try tuning it out and taking time to meditate or listen to music, etc!. Take some time to do other things temporarily!. Honestly, its important NOT to over obsess/stress about anything!. ALL last April I was experiencing a VERY similar situation!.!.!.it eventually came to the point of heart palpitations, a touch of insomnia, and a delayed period!.
I'm sure you'll do fine on your examinations with you just take the time to give your mind a break from studies periodically!. :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

OK, first calm down!. Breathe!.

Start revising as soon as you can; the sooner the better, in a nice quiet place with no distractions!. Make sure all ur notes are organised and in clear piles!. Have calm music in the background!. But most of all; don't stress, everything will be fine! If u stress then u won't remember as much!.

Avoid caffeine and sugary foods; go instead for a cup of tea and nuts if you want to snack!. Importantly, make sure you have a good nights sleep!. Take a break every now and again from studying and go for a walk and get fresh air!. If you have time, do some yoga!.

Have a drink!. Really!. Or if that's not your bag do whatever it is you can to relax, then study, then relax again, then take the exam RELAXED!. Listening to music is good!. Hot bath!. Smoke a jay!. Whatever just get stress out of your mind!. If you are stressed out before the exams your not going to absorb much, if your stressed during your going to over analyze the questions, second guess yourself and probably pick something you know is wrong!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

can you delay anything to give you more time!?
if so talk to or email that person to reschedule ASAP!.

the only other advice is that you can divide up your time based on what areas you need to study most, not on how long you have till the exam!.

there's no reason to be so stressed!. it's hard not to be, but you can be just as productive, if not more, when you relax and do one thing at a time!. easier said than done, because i have the same problem!. i hope you feel betterWww@Answer-Health@Com

Do something to take your mind off it!. This probably isn't very good advice but binge eating might help!. Meditate!. Just do something except worry!. Or maybe start revising!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

take breaks
