Answers:
You bet!. All of the above!. I've been in hospitals and mental ones are the worst: You have to salve wounds and suffer great emotional stress!.

On the other hand, she might get used to the blood once she is exposed to it regularly!. But it takes a strong stomach!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My mums friend became a nurse, she had the same issue!.

At first, it's hard!. I mean, it's unusual, poking needles into people and the smell of blood, it was really hard for her at first!. But, she really wanted to help people!. She practiced poking needles into oranges and stuff to get used to the feel of doing it!. When she actually came face to face with a patient, she reminded herself how far she'd come and how much she was helping this person!.

In the end, she became used to it and she really is a good nurse!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think it is important in the medical field to be able to keep a safe emotional distance from the situations, as that will allow one to be able to perform their service without too much internal distraction!. But it does not mean one has to be without a heart!. When a mother of a close friend passed away suddenly, one of the CCU nurses with us at the time actually shed a few tears!. She was calm about it, but it showed that she actually cared!. And that made the world of difference to us!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

For some people it is!. And others are able to focus on the tasks at hand rather than the smells and unpleasant factors!. They also just keep in mind that they are helping sick people and they can stay cheery and focused!.

It just depends!. The best way to know if you can do it is to try, like she is!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It can be rough!. Hopefully, in going through training she can work in a hospital and see what it is like!. This is definitely not for everyone!. There is also different types of nursing!. I also see the nurses I work with do better with these difficult things they smell and see with more exposure!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
