Short answer: assuming you took up the schedule the next day, nothing!.
I take 20 mg of Paxil daily and for the past 15 years!. I feel schetchy when I don't take it!. Of course with meds, each individual is different!. My first thought do you take other meds and if so could they maybe not be mixing well together!. Or perhaps you may need to try something else that might work better for you!. Many depression and or anxiety meds take at least 14 days before the desired effect is achieved!.Best wishesWww@Answer-Health@Com

Missing a single dose won't make a difference one way or the other!. The frequent bathroom trips issue should resolve after a week or two of treatment (your body will get used to it)!. It is important to remember to take your medication CONSISTENTLY (no more skipping)!. Paxil is NOT designed to work on an "as-needed" basis!. If you do not take it consistently, the level will not build to the point where it can make a therapeutically measurable difference!.

Go back to your regular dosing schedule tomorrow!. Remember: it will probably take a few weeks before you notice a positive difference!. Don't give up!. Just keep taking your dose as prescribed, and you can look forward to some relief very soon!.

Paxil shouldn't make you feel like this, it's supposed to help treat the symptoms of PD, sounds like you need to go back to the doc!. ASAP and get on something else!. The longer you continue to take paxil the worse it will get!. I would call the dr!. office and at least speak to the nurse, tell her it's not helping and ask if you should stop taking it, as far as missing you dose it all depends on how many hours until you take the next dose, if it's close 4-7 hours wait until next dose but longer then that I'd go ahead and take it as soon as can!. If you are having trouble with the idea of actually calling dr!. then have someone close do it for you, life is to short to continue to suffer!. There are med's out there that'll get life back on track for you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Just wait until the next scheduled dosing time!. Nothing will happen since you have only just begun treatment!. I used to take Paxil, I've taken it all and nothing seems to help except Xanax!. Paxil also made me feel nervous, and sketchy!. Tell your Doctor how it makes you feel and he/she will probably try something else!. All pills affect different people different ways!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Missing one dose is not a problem!. Do not keep skipping doses!. You must take it consistently for it to work!. How would not taking your meds make you better able to face people when you have an anxiety disorder!? This is contradictory!. I doubt it is the Paxil that is making you feel "sketchy" and run to the bathroom!. Give it a try!. It works!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Paxil is wonderful, as i am sure you have read!. You have only been on it for 5 days, so you won't actually feel any relief yet!. It could take a few more weeks!. Be patient, have your doctor give you a PRN to use in the meantime!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't think one dose missed is going to be a problem, but it sounds like you feel Paxil causes you a problem!. If you feel this you need to be talking with the doctor!. Perhaps your medication needs to be changed!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Nothing will happen, so long as you don't miss anymore doses!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
