Question: What would happen if I went and talked to someone from Kids in Crisis about!.!.!.!?
My dad is a alcoholic!. He's not violent or agressive when drunk but for years now it has damaged me greatly!. I hate the person he becomes when he is!. I cry myself to sleep a lot and this has put me into major depression for years now!. I've talked to my mom about it but she's just like "yeah you're right" but never does anything about it!. I have also talked to my dad about it too but he gives off the same reaction!.
So my question is, what would happen if I mentioned it to a guidance counselor at school or kids in crisis!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

They would probably refer you to Al-Anon, an offshoot of Alcoholics Anonymous!. Al-Anon is for family members of alcoholics!. I believe it is free or low-cost to attend!. There will be many people there who can empathize with you and give you support!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
