Panic attacks much?!

Question: Panic attacks much!?
Ok so my birth dad left me when I was 2, but it didn't bother me as much as when my birth mom did when I was 5!. I'm 15 now, and I sometimes go thru periods when I'm depressed because of what happened when I was little!. Is this normal to have anxiety attacks about it!? Help me pleaseWww@Answer-Health@Com

Anything negative can cause anxiety attacks!.

It's good you know what's causing it!. I get anxiety attacks and have no idea what's causing them, so I don't know how I'm going to get better!.

You should see a councillor or therapist about this!. You may feel like you don't need to, but they are so insightful and help you learn more about yourself!.

I've learn that one of the reasons why I have anxiety attacks is that I've been ignoring too many problems so they come out physically in my sleep once my mental barriers are down!.

If you're from the UK, see your Doctor and ask if there's a councillor or psychologist you can see for free, or maybe your school/college/uni will let you see a free councillor!?

I see my college councillor!. Shes' not the best but she's helped me understand myself allot better!.

When you have anxiety attacks, try breathing in a paper bag to put more carbon dioxide back in your system!. The Doctor told me to do this!. I haven't tried it but it's meant to work!.

Edit:

Also, I know this sounds scary and I'm too much of a wimp to try it myself, but I was told that if you concentrate on how you feel when having a panic attack and kind of dare your body to bring it on, it's meant to make it better or prevent it getting worse, because it's like you're suddenly in control!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You've been through a very tramatic experience losing both parents at a very early age when stability is absolutely necessary for creating self-esteem and trust!. You are absolutely normal for having anxiety attacks because of this, so do not feel bad/guilty/ashamed!. You should, however, talk with a counsellor about the feelings you are facing so you can learn healthy ways of dealing with the sudden onset of the panic attacks!. Your school should have a counsellor that can help you; they can even refer you to someone who can help!.

Good luck, and if you ever need a friend, look me up :DWww@Answer-Health@Com

It's not normal!. I had some stuff happen to me when I was 5 till 11!.!.!.it left me dramatized until now!.!.I have had anxiety attacks for many years!. What helps me is doing yoga, and talking to myself when I feel one is coming up!.!.!.I try to be strong about it!.!.!.and certainly DISTRACT myself before it gets worse,,,like jumping up quickly and getting my laundry done!.!.!.or I donno anything to hurry and get my head off of it!. Pills can help but I wouldn't take them unless they are severe that you start calling the Abulance every month because their expensive and Im not a big pill fan!.!.!.Once you have anxiety attacks your stuck with them till life!.!.!.you can just control them but eventually you'll get them again!. Anyhow hope what I said was useful!.!.!.you'll be alright! relax!.!.!.!. mind over body chica :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
