My boyfriend has started cutting (or 'experimenting') again. Should I ju!

Question: My boyfriend has started cutting (or 'experimenting') again!. Should I just give up!?
So a few weeks ago, I caught my boyfriend calmly dragging an opened ink cartridge across his wrists which drew just a little blood!. He said it was just 'for fun' but I persuaded him to go to a counsellor anyway, which he did and although I couldn't go with him, everything seemed to be fine!.

Yesterday it was hot and we were outside, so he took off his shirt, and I noticed he'd covered his arms in wristbands, so I took them off when he was lying down, and saw yet more shallow cuts across his wrists!. I felt betrayed and lied to, and sad and shocked at what he'd done!. He told me, again, that he didn't mean it, but I was so hurt, so worried, that I just went straight home!.

Is there any point in me trying to help anymore!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Don't give up on him!. Encourage him to get help and if you can, try to go with him to counseling even if it means sitting outside the door!. If you don't love him anymore though, then you should leave, but if you're in love with him, this is just something you need to deal with!. He won't do this forever, but he's definitely in pain and needs to figure out a more productive way to get relief!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Do not give up on him!. My boyfriend has caught me multiple times cutting myself, and although he feels hurt and betrayed, he stands beside me and shows he loves me and helps me get through what I am going through!. That helps me more than anything, and makes me think more clearly the next time I am tempted to hurt myself!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yes, there is a point!. you love him and you're hurt!.!.!.but think about what he is feeling!. he's probably getting over something, and needs you to be there for him!.

go to him, apologise, tell him you love him but YOU need HIM to co-operate!. you're going to the counsellor again and if this is experimenting, then that's cool!. if it isn't, let him know you'll always be there for him, no matter what!.

good luck!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you should let him go,

i mean, what person in right mind would do this to them-selves, if they do this to themselves and say its fun, imagine what they can/would/want to do to you for fun

EDIT:: you wouldnt wanna be with a person who cuts themself when ever they are in trouble or mad etc,

EDIT AGAIN:: btw, nice pic, looks like your gazing at your titties!.!.!. lolWww@Answer-Health@Com

If he hasn't changed by now you should probably tell him your concerns and discuss where the relationship is going!. If he is going to kill himself there is no point in staying with him!. In the other hand if you leave him he could kill himself anyway!. Your in a pickle!. Do what you believe is best!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i think that you should stick by him but if it keeps happening i think that maybe you should tell someone about it and make sure that he gets helpWww@Answer-Health@Com

Give up for your own sake!.
Carry on for his sake!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. but it only spells sorrow!.
So my choice - Carry on with your life! don't stagnate it for him!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Leave him!. Just give it up!. You don't need that kind of stress in your life!. get away while you still can!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Honestly, with no offense intended, I don't know how you or anyone else could call themselves a boyfriend/girlfriend to anyone if they would just leave them at a time like this, unless they seriously no longer have any feelings for that person!. He says he doesn't mean it!. Maybe he does, maybe he really doesn't, but knowing he has someone there for him might well just help him anyway!. I suggest you tell him your feelings and what you're considering to do about them!. Then, give it some time!. Look at it this way - if you were in his situation, would it not be better for you having someone by your side!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
