Question: What kind of questions should I expect my counselor to ask me!?
I'm 13, and I'm going to see a counselor on Friday for depression!. What will he/she probably ask!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Here are some questions to expect!.
-Have you ever been had an eating disorder!?
-Have you ever engaged in self-injury!?
-Have you ever been raped, abused, etc!.!?
-What is your home life like!?
-How are your friends!?
-Do you think about suicide!?
-Have you ever attempted suicide!?
Mostly, the counselor will generally try and get a feel for your past and your history on the first few sessions!.

When you go in, the receptionist will probably give you forms in which you explain why you've come for counseling!. The counselor will read this sheet and ask you about your experiences with depression!. He/she will also ask about your family background, favorite activities, and related info to get a feel for your personality!. If the counselor is a good one, he/she will do this in a friendly, conversational, nonthreatening way!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
