Answers:
Yes, those side effects are normal to Lorazepam!. Any of the five intrinsic benzodiazepine effects possessed by Lorazepam (sedative/hypnotic, muscle relaxant, anxiolytic, amnesic and anticonvulsant) may be considered as "adverse effects", or "side effects", if unwanted!. Lorazepam's effects are dose-dependent, meaning that the higher the dose, the stronger the effects (and side effects) will be!. Using the smallest dose needed to achieve desired effects lessens the risk of adverse effects, so stick to your usual half a pill if you want to avoid feeling high!.

Lorazepam is really strong, 1mg of it is equivalent to 10mg of Valium and I am guessing you are taking 1mg which is a popular presentation for this drug!.

Benzodiazepines, like Lorazepam or Diazepam (Valium)depress the central nervous system respiratory drive, among other things, so that's why you find yourself taking long deep breaths!.

Do not drink while taking this potent drug!.
Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

If it makes you feel something other than relaxed and sleepy, it probably isn't the right med for you!. I take it and it works for me!. But when they tried Valium and one other one, I hated it!. Made the anxiety worse, and I couldn't sleep or relax!. Anything narcotic makes me have really freaky hallucinations, and I stay away from that stuff too!.

Might want to switch meds!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

lorazepam is very strong!.!.!.I think you just took too much!. If a half a pill worked you should stick with that!. I can tell you from experience DO NOT DRINK with this stuff!. I only take a whole pill when I am really worked up, to sleep a half a pill will do!. It really depends on the milligrams of the med on how much you should take just because the pill looks small does not mean it is not powerfullWww@Answer-Health@Com
