Help with severe paranoia?!
Question: Help with severe paranoia!?
How do you cope with, or overcome, your paranoia!? I am having such a hard time with it, and am seriously going insane because of it!.
I asked a question for help last night, but I only calmed down for about a half-an-hour!. [here's the link: http://answers!.yahoo!.com/question/index;!.!.!. ]
But, is there any special treatment for it!? Or certain medications!? I just need help, it's getting out of control!. Waaaaayyy too out of control!. I have become a prisoner in my own mind, and there's no way to escape!.

Once you see your doctor you will most likely be put on an anti-psychotic medication - which does not mean you are crazy as well as medicine for your anxiety which will help a lot!. What you are experiencing is most likely from something that happened in the past and you cannot bury it, resolve it or accept it!. You said "I'm super embarrassed by everything I've ever done in life"!. I know the feeling!. I've done some horrible things that I wish I can take back but in the real world when it's done there is no going back!. I come to realize why I did the things I did and accepted them as well as accepted that there may be some "ripple effect" in the future!. But we cannot predict or control the future!. We do not even know if we will be alive the next day!. When you see your doctor you will be put on medication that will help you with your stress and paranoia!. For tonight you should turn off your computer and watch TV or call a friend!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
We cant really help u, but i can offer some advice!.
Go to your normal doctor and tell him/her whats going on if u havent yet!. Ask for a referall to a pyshciatrist or counselor, talking with a dr will help u get some feelings out!.
I dont know the names of medications for this but i am sure there are many to treat this!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
