Question: I need help!? Not sure where to go to get it!. Suicidal!.!?
I am Bi-polar
and Im completely suicidal
i dont know if there is meds that they can put me on
or if i need to go somewhere
or something
I tryed killing myself the other day
but my room mate walked in and took the gun away!. I guess i was shaking and crying and i passed out thats what she told me!.
I was not drunk so dont say anything about that!.
I have no idea
I dont want to kill myself its something that my mind is like making me do!.

You know that getting to a safe place with your illness is going to be hard, but more importantly, you know it's possible!.
I know suicide seems like the best option right now, even if it doesn't feel like it, and that is becuase you are not in control!.
You need to get back in control, and you can't do that by yourself!.
I know you can't remember the last time you were totally happy, but I know you were once happy!. If you didn't have a happy time, you would have killed yourself a long time ago!.
You were happy, and you can be happy with a little help!.
Please feel free to e-mail me whenever you want to talk or if you want to give me the full story!.
There is nothing you can say that I wont care about!.
Get well soon, people are there for you, and most importantly, YOU CAN BE HAPPY AGAIN!.

Were you diagnosed as bipolar by a professional!? I am a PLMHP!. If you are suicidal than you can call 911 and they will take you to the emergency room and get you all kinds of help!. If you are not in need of immediate attention, make an appointment to see a therapist to get an accurate diagnosis and they can also refer you for meds!. Suicide is common in bipolar I!. and Bipolar II!. individuals!. However, people who suffer from severe depression from bipolar disorder generally attempt suicide and WANT to die, to end the deep depression!. You have enough insight to know that you don't really want to kill yourself and that it's all in your mind!. This would be a good prognosis for you!. Just make an appointment with an LMHP, LPC, or a psychologist!. Do not go to your family doctor unless you have no other option!. They are not fully trained in the area of mental illness!. There is medicine for being bi polar and that is usually using lithium as the main base!. It might be regular depression unless you have been diagnosed as having bipolar disorder!. I am depressed, but definatly try to get help from others before trying to give it to your self though a way that you hope works,!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

About the Bipolar!. I have been diagnosed with Bipolar type I which is the worse of them; there are about 5 types of Bipolar!. There is treatment but it requires medication and you have to comply to the medication your doctor prescribes!. The medication does take time to begin working but if you begin to feel more depressed then you should call your doctor!. I have experienced many manic and depression episodes!. What keeps me going is KNOWING that the depression will end and the depression I occasionally experience is not nearly as bad as it was when I first experienced it!.
What I STRONGLY recommend is that you go to your local hospital, the ER and tell them you are suicidal!. They will admit you for 72 hours!. If you do not feel better, or safe, they may keep you longer!.
