Am i losing the plot?!


Question: Am i losing the plot!?
Okay here it is!. Im 18, male from the uk!. for the last few months ive been having very very bad dreams!. Theyre very disturbing, and very graphic!. I wake up sweating like hell, and crying my eyes out!. They are sometimes so disturbing i wake up, and vomit!. These dreams are happening alot more often than they used to!.!.!.

I also have very increased anxiety, it seems im getting more and more paranoid!? I make these stupid little stories up in my head and believe them!. If im walking down the road im convinced people are walking behind me, and i can even hear footsteps!. I have also maybe tricked myself into thinking that loved ones around me are trying to kill me, and poisioning my drinks etc!? I have done drugs, but only dabbled in them maybe 5 years ago!. maybe 10 spliffs!.

I dont sleep very well at all, and am on no prescribed medication!. I also have trouble showing my emotion and have started to come a bit of a recluse, not wanting to go out etc!. help!Www@Answer-Health@Com

you sound like a very inteligent and self aware individual!. I do not think you are loosing the plot!.

It sounds like there is something in your life you are not dealing with!. You need to be honest with yourself and figure out what is triggering this behavour and those nightmares!. Try and remember when the nightmares started, they may be a result of, or relating to, a trauma, loss or tradgedy in your life!.

If stress is the cause, it would have to be severe stress!. Deal with what is causing the stress!. Talk it through with someone if you can!. You must be exhausted!. You don't have to deal with all this on your own!. If you try to, you will only stress further, because it wont work!.

Please go and phone someone, or visit your gp, talk to a close friend, anything to help ease the tension you so obviously feel!.

You are worried that you are loosing the plot, more likely that you are depressed!. Stay positive and keep your chin up, you are writting publicly about your problems, thats one step away from speaking to someone, and just two away from starting to reslove these issues!. Nothing is forever, happyness is on the horizon, go and get it!

Try getting a massage or something at a spa !. It will relax you and relieve your stress I used to have that problem!. But i have a massage done once a week and now i dont have those I am still slightly paranoid though but not near as
bad!.

Ok just from what you've said it sounds like you could be slightly schizophrenic!.

I think you have mentioned your problems ! You have to have a good diet and get good sleep feel healthy !.!.!. why don you take Yoga !?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I really think you should go to the doctor!. Most people put that off because of a fear its going to be something really bad but it may just be a simple chemical balance or something!. Its better to go and get it checked out! Before it gets worseWww@Answer-Health@Com

if you drink water it a old wifes tale that it will give you nighmares if you drink too much, otherwise see professional advice with your GP, and dont accept a "don't worry about it" you have the right to speak to a specialist via the NHS!.
as with the cannabis, someone close to me dabbled with that stuff and he had a complete mental breakdown, there are some preliminary reports linking cannabis to phschological problems, daily mail stuff really, bottom line got to the doctor soonest!Www@Answer-Health@Com
