Our Grandson's mom has that and is quite bad at remembering things, but our grandson is 5 now and way above average in smarts!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it depends on what the root cause of your ADD is!. ADD is a symptom of a problem- not hte problem itself- 9 times out of 10 the root problem is dietary!. The symptom of ADD is treated but the root problem is never addressed, therefore oyur body continues to deteriorate, your learning abilities diminish and then you do not have what is necessary , ntrient wise to pass on to oyur children so their neurological and other systems develop properly!. Once you get to the root of your ADD and address it from their- you will be better equipped for making sure your children do not wind up with the same struggles!.
Your ADD could be rooted in anything from amino acid deficiencies, food allergies/ intolerance (celiac, gluten and or dairy intolerance) heavy metal or other toxicities- or a combination of the above- once you address the root, the results are nothing short of miraculous!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I just recently finished the book "Scattered: How Attention Deficit Disorder Originates And What You Can Do About It" by Gabor Mate!. Suddenly, one appreciates just how much knowledge and awareness must go in to the complex job of parenting!. If you really want to know how to stop the cycle, read this book!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Let's see, my brother was diagnosed at 2 with ADHD!. I have several half brothers with it, and recently my doctors told me they think I may have had it all along - but that very intelligent people display ADD differently than most!. The stimulants seem to be working for the most part, so I have to think they might be right!.
Whoever says there's no genetic link might be right, but that's not what any doctor I've ever met has said, both psychiatrist and therapist!.
Honestly, I think we're ALL a little ADD!. We either learn how to cope with it, or we don't!. The ones who do live a normal life, maybe show signs of depression and anxiety that are never fully treated with medication and they don't understand why!. Those that don't function well with it may receive help at the insistence of their parents who know something isn't quite right at a young age!.
Either way, its not a death sentence!. They get it or they don't, but who cares!? They have great new medicine that treats it without causing people to become zombies and still allows them to focus on whatever task they need to accomplish!.
I'm not saying medicine is the answer to everything, but when it interferes with someone living a "normal" life, whatever they may determine THAT to be, it's time to get help!.
There HAVE been studies linking childhood ADD with adult bi-polar!. That's something you may want to think about!.
BTW- studies have also shown that a majority of the people with ADD are above average in intelligence, despite doing worse on tests and having work related problems etc!. IQ tests put me in the genius category, I just lack the drive to really put forth the effort!. My biggest complaint at work is that I'm too smart and people can't keep up with me!. Thank you ADD, I'll take that as a complimentWww@Answer-Health@Com

i don't think you can pass that down but i think the world is affected by it, the degree of it isn't know yetWww@Answer-Health@Com

you believe you think outside the box!.!.!.!? Its called genetics!. And theres no evidence of ADD being genetical, so your kids should be fine!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
