Too quiet?!

Question: Too quiet!?
Im wondering if there is anyone else with this problem!. Ok so whenever someone speaks to me even if it is something simple my face will get red and i get really nervous!. it is really embarassing and im not sure why im like this!. Also whenever someone says something to me i never know what to say!. It just seems like a lot of people make dumb conversation that they find funny and i cant seem to find the humor in it!. Also lately i find that i dont even want to go out because im afraid someone will want to start conversation with me and i wont know what to say!. I cant even show emotion anymore, like the other day i found out someone i knew died and i really did care deep down inside but when they told me I just sat there!. I dont even think i could make my self cry even if i wanted to!. I feel really depressed because i didnt even choose a school because i know all majors in college involve being around people and i dont know what to do!. my parents are no help at all!. Is anyone like this!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Too quiet!? Maybe!. If it is causing you problems with everyday life!. Then yes!. But if you like being alone and you don't feel the need to hang out with others- then no!. You are just an introvert!. (I have two people that I consider true friends and I have to force myself to carry on conversations with people because I really don't care what they have to say- I find most people boring!.!.!.I think I am much worse than you- but I am really happy with my life!.)
Sorry to hear about your friend!. And you did show emotion- jut not like everyone else- but there is nothing wrong with that!. You don't have to be like everyone else!.
As for choosing a school- you can take on line classes for somethings and for the others, well you will just have to be "the quiet one"in class!. Look at it this way- at least you are not the loud, obnoxious one that everyone hates!.!.!.
There are lots of people out there and college is nothing like HS!. No one really cares if you are quiet or not because you are not in classes with the same people like HS!. Broaden your horizon a little bit, give yourself a chance!. You will be fine!. Remember you are not alone!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, I have always had that problem!. I think it is social anxiety and it seems that you have the same problem as me with your parents!. Since you said majors in college, I am guessing you're not still in normal school (high or middle school), so you can't ask a teacher or anyone else to get you help!. If you can do it yourself, maybe you should go see a therapist!. (I'm trying to get help also!.) If you don't want to get help, I don't know how else you could overcome it, but you could give it a try!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You sound like you are more of an introvert, I am much the same way!. Push yourself into social situations so it gets easier to be around people!. I still prefer to be a loner, but I have chosen people oriented professions so I can work on being more of a people person!Www@Answer-Health@Com

make an appointment with your doctors and go from there, they will help you trust meWww@Answer-Health@Com

I am the same way! Just try to communicate and things'll get better!. Thats something we both need to learn to do!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm just like that!. I'm so shy it's not even funny!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm the exact same way!. I just never have anything to say, I never know how to respond and even when I try I end up trailing off and it's impossible for me to make conversation at all!. All my emotions have left, I haven't been happy or sad or mad or anything in monthes!. I feel like climbing in a hole and staying there forever!. I completely perfer being alone now days and I don't even talk to my friends anymore and I'm scared to death that my boyfriend will get bored!. sorry I have no advice, but I can relate completely!. and I always turn red sometimes just eye contact will do the job :PWww@Answer-Health@Com
