Sometimes I just need help?!


Question: Sometimes I just need help!?
Lately I have been completely in a dark hole!. My mother and I have no good relationship!. My dad is on drugs, and I am not allowed to see him as much as I would like to!. I recently gave up all of my friends, because they are involved with Harsh drugs, and I would rather not be associated with that, but I have a boyfriend of 2 years that I live with ( in my parents home, he lives with me for substantial reasons), Right now though I feel like I am losing everything!. I was once very suicidal ( about 2 years ago) but with help I pulled through!. But I feel myself slipping into that again!. I feel no worry of my life anymore!. I feel like I have nothing!. I honeslty feel like giving up!. I know that is the most selfish thing a person can do, but I just feel like my body is slipping away!.
I refuse to be put on anti-depressants, because I do not believe you should let a pill control your mind!. I just need to vent!. I m not the kind of person to tell anyone my problems!. I just need to get them out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You may consider going to a therapist/counsellor!. You really need a helping hand at this point of time!. I'm sorry for the things that has happened to your household!.

Now, you need God!. Pray to God and He can turn things around!. Jesus cares for you and loves you and would not want to see you in this state!.

Pls do not do anything silly!. Your life is very precious and your loved ones care for you!.

Here are some advice for depression:

Depression may be caused by negative thoughts, poor circumstances, loss of loved ones, genetic factors, biochemical imbalance in the brain, emptiness in heart, unforgiveness, addictions etc!.

There are some natural mood lifting food and vitamins that you can take with your drugs!. They are:

-multivitamin
-Vitamin B complex pills
- Vitamin C
- GABA (you can get this at a pharmacy) it is a natural neurotransmitter in your brain!.
- SAMe
- Calcium
- Magnesium
-Evening Primrose oil
- Flax oil
- Omega 3
- St John's Wort

try to have some exercise daily!. Go into the sun!. Talk with friends!. Pray to Jesus, he gives you peace and lifts your mood!. These are scientifically proven to work!.

- Listen to soothing music on a couch!.
- have aromatherapy
- eat healthily, oats, wheats, brown rice, more fish, chicken, lots of vegetables and fruits and other natural food, less oil, no sugar, no deep fried stuff, less red meat
- drink lots of filtered or bottled water
have a pet
- cultivate new hobbies
- do not take alcohol and avoid caffeine
- tackle your problem that is giving you depression!. Problem solve with a counselor or friend to reduce the magnitude of the problem!.
- Every time you catch yourself thinking negatively, think what is the most positive way of expressing your feelings and thoughts!.
- Forgive others, release all bitterness and release all grudges, love God and love others
- Do a kind deed each day!. Volunteer your service to the elderly, orphans etc
- I know I have said a lot!. Take baby step, one step at a time!. Give yourself time to get out of depression!.
- go for a tour!. It may relax your mind and spirit!.
- avoid negative news!. You may like to stay off the newspaper!.
- Control your thought process!. Don't let your thoughts stray!. Once you think negatively, catch yourself and replace with a happy thought
- think of the happy times you had with your loved ones in the past!.
- count your blessings one by one!. You still have possessions and loved ones who care for you!.

Think positively!.

You may want to see a psychiatrist and counsellor to work out your problem!. Psychotherapy and cognitive Behavioural Therapy may help!. Prayer does help!. Claim healing from Jesus!. He loves you!. Read the Bible, start at book of John!. Take note of John 3:16, Acts 2:38!. It is God's love message to you!.

For anxiety, try deep breathing from your diaphragm and progressive muscle relaxation!. You can buy books on how to overcome depression and anxiety!.

You may like to join a support group on depression!. Sharing with others do help to some extent!.

It takes time to lift out of anxiety and depression!. First thing is that you desire to get out of them!. Next is the tenacity and perseverance to make changes to your life!.

I've been through depression and anxiety, so I understand!.

Anti depression drugs just limit the amount of the depth of fellings of depression , just like (some) weight loss drugs limit how much of a craving for food you have !. If the feelings are less over-powering you can deal with them better , until you get things under control and can deal with things without the pills !.
How old are you and your bf !?
If your dad is on drugs , your ex-friends are druggies , your bf has some "limitations , and you were suicidal !.!.!. This shows you are in a very bad situation !. I advise you talk to a professional !.

This is the best advice I can give you without more information (and time ) : The secret of life is to become your own best parent(s) , Ask "What would I do (or be doing) If I had been brought up by two (almost -lol) perfect parents !? "
Would you be with a guy that lives in your mom's home for these reasons !? Would you not be making good attempts at finding meaningful things in your life like a career or donating your effort to the needy , or even learning to play guitar or ice skate !?

BTW 420 is a harsh drug , and alcohol is dangerous to play with !.

Exercise and being out in the sun are very good natural anti depressants ! Alcohol IS a natural DEPRESSANT ! Yes it is ! It removes inhibitions for awhile by denying oxygen to the part of the brain that exercises control , but it is also a depressant !. And you can't do much to make your life better while you are buzzed or hung over !. Dark chocolet , bananas and other healthful foods are anti depressants !. Google them !

EDIT !.!.!. You are too young to be under such emotional pressure !.You are trying to satisfy an immature boyfriend , your split-up parents , and yourself !. You are distressed and cutting yourself to ease the pressure !. If you had everything going for you a 17/19 (started 15/17 ! ) relationship would be difficult to maintain !. My wife and I started 18/18 and it is amazing that we are now married 34 years !.(We waited until we were 22 and stable !.) But we had a lot of good things helping !. We both stayed in school after high school and got decent jobs !. And we did have many tough times because we were inexperienced / young !. And we knew we couldn't complicate or strain the relationship with children !.
You NEED to get a H!.S!. Diploma and some extra ed!. My wife started with secretarial school !. You need to get this guy out of your home !. His being there denies you the chance to act without considering him first !. You are young !. You need to grow !. You need to control the sex so you don't get pregnant ( or a disease - it happens - no matter how much you trust this guy )!. At 19 your boyfriend should be able to support himself !. Is he in school !? Does he work !?
Make some new friends that you can be "proud of having" ! And make them proud to know you !Www@Answer-Health@Com
