Question: Depression or bipolar!?
I always kind of feel down and dead, tired!.!.!.no appetite, sad and hopeless, irritable!. And then i get a week or so where everything seems to be going right and i'm happy and take control of my life!. then something, even something little like gaining one pound or finding out someone is annoyed with me sets me back into a glum mood!. is this depression or bipolar!? im really sick of being so sad!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Wow!.!.!.you just described the majority of my life too, lol!. Not making fun just being empathetic to your situation and I know how hard it can be to just function on a daily basis!. I am not currently taking anti-depressants but I do know that when I did I did feel better!. It does sound like you're suffering from depression or some form of it and medicine may help you!.

I found that Lexapro worked the best for me with the least amount of side-effects!. Most people don't have drastic side-effects as I did, I'm just allergic to many things so maybe you should tell your doctor how you're feeling!. Being a woman gives us another disadvantage and more susceptibility to depression due to hormones and biological issues!. Don't feel alone though, many people feel the same way as you and are willing to listen and understand without any judgement!. Good luck to you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's probably dysthimia, a low-grade form of depression!. It's not really like an episode, just a low baseline!.!.!. not bipolar at all!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
