Loosing Hope?!

Question: Loosing Hope!?
I don't know what to do anymore!. I'm not suicidal, but I am!. Meaning, I wont kill myself, but I think about it all the time!. I am a care giver by profession!. I don't really know how to put it and that's probably why it's become such of a problem!. I feel like no body cares for me the way I care for them (emotionally)!. I don't say this to be selfish, it is just the fact!. I go out of my way to try to communicate my feelings to others and I tend to get an opposite response!. My peers don't expect it from me!. I tend to help them immensely with emotional issues, but, when I have issues of my own, they are reluctant to assist!. Specifically, those closest to me!. Since I am a male, being all lubby dubby isn't expected and tends to cause problems with me and my peers!. I am a logical individual!. The only cause I can come up with is jealousy!.

I'm not really looking for a specific answer, just a bit of guidance!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Mediation technique

Meditation is all about controlling you mind rather than being controlled by it!.
It is difficult to directly approach the mind and tame it, so we start by approaching the nearest manifestation of it- breath!.
It can be seen that when we have tremendous concentration we are not breathing as regularly, and whrn upset breath shallow and rapid!.

How to do this!.
Begin by becoming aware of your breath!.
With each inhalation pay attention to the air entering you right nostril(air will enter both, but focus on the column of air in the right side)
Exhale and pay attention to the column leaving your left nostril!.
Inhale and pay attention to air entering the left nostril
Exhale and pay attention to air exiting the right nostril!.
Then breath deep and feel the air in both sides rise up to the tip of your nose(like an inverted V ),
and push it all out(feeling both sides)!.
This is one cycle, you can do up to 100 in a day!.

It is a simple game to keep the mind busy(if you loose track on count restart), and off the things it can't change with worry(realistically everything)!.

Enjoy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think because you are a caregiver it must seem like you are always helping other people without getting it in return!. I would just talk to your peers and say "could you help me out I am in a bind"!. You do not have to feel selfish, you just need some help from others like you give!. Hope this helps!.
Also, I majored in Psychology and it may help to talk to a psychologist if you keep having the suicidal thoughts!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think I know how you feel!. However I feel it's best to not anticipate or always expect a nice word or action from others but have it come as a surprise when you are not expecting it!. That way there is less disappointment!. Constantly worrying about thing you have little control over is like watering weeds!. Nothing good ever comes of it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

And who will care for the caregiver!?!?!?!?
An age old question by now!.

I understand - vividly!.

The thing about suicidal ideation: it is not uncommon among caregivers, especially those who have witnessed death and want "release"!.

Nobody does or ever will care about your patients/clients the way you do!. You are an individual and you act and feel uniquely!. That is part of what makes you - YOU!.

And no one wil ever know exactly who you are, where you come from, and how life's happenings affect you!.

So many times, I wish had sought professional help with these things before did!. Only God knows how much pain I could have spared myself!.

I know it is difficult for a "health professional" to understand and admit "I can't do it on my own"!. BTDT!.

Please see a psychologist or psychiatrist!. go to a different town if you feel the need to!.

Guidance: there is help!. You may have to put your "pride" and "tough guy" facade aside - for a time!.
Take care; be well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
