Self harming?!


Question: Self harming!?
i have been self harming for about 15 year in different ways i notice a lot of people are cutters i do anything to bring the pain out on myself between burning or scrubbing arms with scrubbing brush hitting myself with things till i hurt and bruise i want to stop but finding it difficult and my husband has only found out over the past few years!. have been seen someone about it but they sat like a nodding dog and it annoyed me but i really do want to stop what can i doWww@Answer-Health@Com

i would try and find a good psych, i was a cutter but have stopped now!. it was realy hard but i got there!. and dnt jst thnk it will stop in an instant!. cos it didnt start in an instant!. it will take time!. my psych reccomended i write how im feeling when i have the urge to cut!. and i did!. it didnt work every time but as time went by i noticed how much id cut back!. from 4-4 times a day to a coupple times a week!. theres also other things u can do!. jst try and distract urself from all the neggativity!. and most times u wont be able to so express it in other ways like painting or music!. theres lots of things u can do!. and dnt be too upset wen u hav a set bak wen u have been doing so well!. cos u will have set backs!. but jst thnk of how far u have come and u dnt wnt anything to ruin that cos then u have to start from the start all over again!. and that will just make it harder!.
