You know a very shy, soft-spoken young woman who has not been having luck with dating and finding a boyfriend!. She's very sweet and kind but very shy!. She's tried internet dating for awhile, but hasn't had much luck!. You told her that she needs to break out of her comfort zone and just go out and go up to guys!. And yes, it may be embarrassing and uncomfortable but she should just get out there!. In response, she said "but that's the step I can't take!.!.!."

Well I have friends who don't take my advice and it is quite aggravating!. You can only do so much for someone, you can never make them do something!. She's probably just scared of people, I used to be!. I was afraid to talk to anyone, but it took a very good friend to break me out of that shell!. I say, take her out places and meet people!. Not guys in particular, just people!. Help her be more comfortable around people!. It'll do wonders for her self-esteem!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

In my opinion it doesn't matter but seeing that there's a community of people with the same problems she has and a system for overcoming those problems (even if most of it is from a guy point of view) will be like a placebo for her!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would continue to encourage this person!. Talk to her!. She has a real fear!. It is common!. Only through time and encouragements can she overcome this fear!. And a "Never Give Up" attitude!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
