I may not be the best source but I'll throw out some thoughts!.

First off, you lost 50 fifty pounds!. Congratulations!. That's an incredible feat most people do not have the willpower to accomplish!. Really!. And your body probably thanks you as you are probably more healthy now as a result!. So it seems to me that you have both the will and the ability to accomplish the things you set out to do!. That's an ideal place to start that many others cannot claim!.

Re: stretch marks - I'm no dermatologist or doctor but you are young and your body is resilient!. I know it's not the same thing but if 30+ year olds who have babies have bodies that snap back with a little effort then I should think a 16 year old who lost weight will do even better even faster!. It probably requires certain types of exercise!. If you have the willpower to lose the weight you just lost - I'm sure you have the willpower to do this as well!.

"To make things better i ate" I'm sure that this only made your feelings of depression worse over time and so was no solution at all!. But it was an attempt at a solution!. And one that you enjoyed for a time I bet!.

So it sounds like part of the solution beyond the immediate weight/body concerns is to find what you are passionate about - and that doesn't make you unhealthy - that improves your life rather than detracts from it!. To find what gives you the most pleasure that also helps you be what you want to be!.

If you are passionate about food then maybe directing your interests to foodie ( http://en!.wikipedia!.org/wiki/Foodie ) interests can help!. If you are passionate about improving your weight and body - then devote even more attention to it!. Become passionate about how to eat healthy, how best to exercise to get the results you want!. Read up on different approaches, different solutions!.

If it is toning up your skin/muscles maybe it's learning the best exercises that can accomplish this!.

Or maybe it's nothing related to health, weight, food or any of that!.!.!. who knows!.

But it sounds like you have the willpower!. Once you start to learn more about a subject the deeper involved and more passionate about it you will become I bet!. To the point where you become an expert at that (those) thing(s)!.

And know that you have one of the best things on your side that many, many people don't have and can never have again: their youth!. You are extremely lucky in this regard!. You have Plenty of time to become and do what you want to become and do!. If you can lose 50 pounds in whatever time it took you, then imagine what you can do with the rest of the time you have in front of you!.

You just need to put the time in to see results and be devoted to it!. But most people don't put enough time in because they lack the willpower and/or the time!. You seem to have both!.

You seem to be on the right track!. It seems that you should be proud of what you were able to accomplish!. And that you shouldn't look at your weight loss as a single task with a goal of X pounds - but rather that improving your health, toning up your skin, and other areas of your life, education say, is a continuous, rather than a stop/start thing - and that you can become even better at these things as you devote more time to them!.

Depression is the brain telling you that you can't do things or are no good at doing them!. Prove it wrong!. You've proved it wrong already!. Keep it up!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

can you join a gym and get into an aerobic class!?
at your young age your skin should tighten up after time
go for itWww@Answer-Health@Com

Chris, I think it's great that you've lost weight!. Your skin doesn't always keep up with the rapid weight loss of the fat underneath!. As a result, you'll get excess skin and folds!. With your age, your body will have time to adjust to your new weight!.

I can understand why you're miserable!. It's hard to be 16 and be unhappy with the way you look!. The good news is, though, you have lost weight!.

A word about self-esteem: There is a difference between self-esteem and self-respect!. Think about it!. Self-respect is so much more valuable and no one can take it away!.

peace!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

being 5'5 and 153 pounds seems healthy and normal!. it depends pm your frame!. However it doesnt matter if your 500 pounds or 100 your self esteem wont change!. you have to love yourself no matter what!. research ways to get toned or healthy!. talk to someone, see a dr!. your only 16 you have your whole life ahead of you!. im 5'3 and 160 pounds but when i tll ppl that they say no way you way 130 because i ahve a lot of muscle tone i weigh more than teh average person!. i stopped eating and lost a tone of weight but i was still unhappy now im happy with who i am and i have self esteem!. you just need to love who you are because you are stuck with yourslef and you wont be able to love others until you love yourself!. good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hi

I'd first want to ask, how did you lose the weight!? It sounds like maybe you got some surgery done to lose it, or went without food for a while, since a usual heallthy weight loss wouldn't comprise of loose skin by the end of it!.

It is okay to eat as long as you cut out candy and salt and a lot of processed foods (dairy products are good to cut out too since they aren't very digestible by humans)!. You may find that your body can rebuild itself with a steady diet of 100% fruit juices (such as from Welch's or Ocean Spray), vegetable juices and nuts and seeds!. This is what's normally called a "raw food diet," which simply means you eat fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds that contain all the nutrition the body needs in order to heal itself!. I've found that eating lots of fruit (pineapple, apple, grape juice, raspberry juice, coconut juice) helps me with my mood too!. You don't have to eat fruits and veggies exclusively, but getting more of them in will aid in your body's healing process!. For example, Vitamin E and Zinc are excellent nutrients to help clear up stretch marks-you can find this in pumpkin and sunflower seeds!. You can also find some aloe vera gel to rub on stretch marks which can itself be very healing!.

Hope this helps!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
