Question: Anti-depressants and pregnancy!?
I'm not pregnant now but in the next few years I would like to have a baby!. I need to take anti-depressants but I'm worried that it will have negative effects on my baby!. Has anyone taken anti-depressants during pregnancy!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

There are many SSRI's that are dafe to take while pregnant but not all of them are!. Check with your doctor if/when the time comes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
DONT TAKE ANTI-DEPRESSANTS!!!! Even if you weren't considering having a baby, I wouldn't take it if I were you!. It's just a band-aid for your mood!. What you really need is a change from the inside, not from the outside!. I can't say why, and I know you have no idea who I am, but trust me, you'd be better off without it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I know of several women who have done so!. I believe it was effexor that they found to work well in pregnancy!. but some doctors will shy away from it to play it safe!. not a lot is known about how the drugs affect the unborn child!. I think its dependent on how safe it is for the mom to be off of them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
you shouldnt take them when your pregnant!. causes miscarriages abd birth defects!.
