Would people want to read my "diary"?!

Question: Would people want to read my "diary"!?
I am just starting to blog!. I have never kept a journal or a diary, so this is pretty new to me!. I know it will help me sort out my thoughts and keep track of my progress by keeping a journal!.

What I am wondering is if people will want to read my daily journal entries!? or is reading about somone else's random daily thoughts unintresting!?

my blog isnt about a certain subject, it is about my daily life

part of me dont care if anyone reads the Blog at all, because I think it will help me figure myself out!. and another part of me wants people to read it to put in their help, support and comments!.

The main reason I want to blog is to sort out my thoughts over time!. And I beleive it is Mental Health related so that is why I posted the question in this section!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Keeping an online journal is one of the most theraputic things in my life!. I've been keeping one as part of an online community in a place called Open Diary for about five years now, and if you get involved it can be very rewarding!. On the one hand, it's an amazing de-stress technique, pouring out your thoughts into a computer screen; I've also felt like it's been the place to put my thoughts in order and arrange what's going on in my head, resolving issues I never would have thought to address if not for the mindless tapping on the keyboard!.

I've also found, however, is that over the years when you comment on people's diaries and become interested in other people's lives, they become interested in yours!. Over the past five years I've developed a small group of friends from around the world purely from the fact that we read about each other's lives!. In many ways it's a friendship that runs deeper than some real life acquaintances; typing on the screen your innermost thoughts knowing that people will see them is easier when you're not going to face them the next day in the real world, and these friendships are based on true empathy for what's going on in the person's life!. In hard times they've got your back and reading those encouraging notes are incredible; in the good times they're your cheering squad, and often I've found myself racing home to type it up because I know they'll understand the joy I'm feeling!.

This is a pretty convoluted way of saying yes, people do want to read your diary!. This said, I do believe there are some communities online that are more conducive to building these sorts of friendships!. I also need to warn you that you mightn't have a dedicated fan base from the start-- that it can take several months (years!?) and an active interest in other people's diaries to make these friendships!. Really, it's a two way street!. You'll find people whose everyday lives are amazing, and likewise people will find you fascinating!. I read diaries and I swear, their life acts out like a movie and it's great to follow along!.

I also find the more time your pour into the journal the better it is for everyone-- it's a great read for others, and it helps you remember events yourself!. Going back years and finding entries that specifically pinpoint how you felt, good or bad, is amazing, and you really do get a huge sense of time passing, of you developing as a person!. I thoroughly and without reservation recommend keeping one, and persisting with it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
