Spider help!!?!


Question: Spider help!!!?
i am terrified of spiders!. its got to the stage where i completely freak out at the sight of a daddy long legs, and even just thinking about big spiders like huntsmen makes me want to cry!. and i live in australia where i cant avoid them!.!.!.!.

does anyone know how to help me!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm sorry to hear it!. I live in Australia too, and we have wolf-spiders in the house every night at least once!.

It's hard to cope with, especially in bush areas where huntsman spiders are frequently found!. Perhaps you can move to the country or somewhere they are infrequent!?

If you're under 18 or not in a position to move, perhaps handling a harmless daddy-long-legs will help!. I used to be frightened (and hey, huntsmans frighten me still, they frighten even spider-veterans), but a daddy-long-legs is so harmless, they're like a fly, they haven't the power to even pierce skin!.

If I knew where you lived, I'd see if I could lend a hand in getting you accustomed to the sight of a harmless simple spider!. They are frightening, but most are harmless!. Maybe you can have your house checked by an exterminator to lessen the risk of big nasty ones!.

its called systematic desensitization!. its where you gradually exposed yourself to the feared object!. start with a picture, then with a toy, then with the real thing!.!.!.
but gradually though!. you can't do it in a day!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I am terrified of spiders too, it is one of the most common phobias!. If you could manage to somehow get hypnotherapy, i have heard that it combats quite a few phobias, good luck!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

While growing up I had that as well, I somehow managed to tame it down and not freak out so much when seeing one!. Now I can handle them!. I find it quite odd I managed to do that because normally professional help is needed!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

what you need to do is put a daddy long legs in a jar (with a lid on it) and sleep with it next to you!.!.!.or hold it in your hand for a few hours!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Take command of your mind and subconscious and force yourself to deal with things like this!. !. !. had to learn the hard way myself, but at least I'm here now :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
